What an amazing and awesome place, we will definitely visit again in the future. This place makes you feel as if you've gone back in time. Great to see such great details, not only that but it is apparent that this place is well maintained.
Nice place to visit on sunny spring time. If you would like to understand Howick history, that's the place you won't miss it. Pleased to know a conservation area in local. Don't miss the Cafe as well, food are delicious!!Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Highly recommend for the whole family. Everyone will find something to do. Lot's of history, beautiful gardens and nice picnic areas to enjoy the views. It's mostly pram friendly. Also has nice Café next door. We'll be back for a "live" day!Visited onWeekendWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNo

Amazed and suprised to see how they preserved everything from 1800's. Fun to experience and learn about settlers. Would definitely recommend to visit on live day!
A very interesting place to wander around and learn about the early settlers of Auckland. It's great to see some of the original homes preserved for future generations to see too.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Lovely open air museum showing the cottages of the first mostly European arrivals to New Zealand. You can enter most of the huts and houses, and since they're all original, it's very interesting to see. There's also a café and a cute gift shop.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
