Had an amazing experience here both when discovering 'the' dress and picking up. Communication was great, I cannot wait to come back for alterations just before the wedding. The ladies are incredibly knowledgeable, kind and patient and there was a large selection to choose from. I love my dress! Thank you so much

The absolute dream team! Getting engaged and not being the gal to have your wedding planned since you were 5 can be bloody daunting! I drove 5.5 hours to Dunedin TWICE to work with these ladies, Alana’s style expertise helped so much when it came to choosing my dress and Barb making everything fit in all the right places, I take my hat off to them both! They made me feel like a queen on my wedding day and I have already recommended 4 brides their way!  Wish I could get married all over again just so I can choose my dress again too!

I bought something online and the packaging was quite average. A veil that cost full price $300 was just wrapped in wrapping paper.. and unfortunately mine came with a live bug inside. Anyway, that wasn't too much of an issue, but I've been trying to get in touch with them about the item I purchased through various channels and I've just been ignored really. I bought the item on sale still cost me $150 and I think I deserve a bit of customer service please. Thank you.

I enquired with about 5 other bridal stores across the country about a rush order for my wedding in December and I must say Alana’s customer service has far exceeded anyone else’s. I knew the exact dress & size I wanted to order so within a day we had sorted out the order, a payment plan, she even double checked all the finer details with me. You have been such a pleasure to deal with and have made what I thought would be a stressful time quite the opposite, we have had so much things go wrong in the last year and I can finally say I’m getting excited for our big day which I know securing the dress of my dreams played a big part in that, so thank you so much again! I’ll be recommending to every bride to be I speak to!

Had such an amazing experience at my dress fitting. The staff made us feel super comfortable and were friendly and helpful. They let me pick a few different styles and recommended some I may like based on what I picked. Have gone back since as a bridesmaid and found the experience just as amazing! 100% recommend going here :

Recently bought my dress from here and was somewhat disappointed. I had to follow up on emails on more than one occasion as I did not receive replies. I was told to budget $100 for alterations and was then charged over $200 and was also given and charged for double sided tape without being told. I also found on the day when I went to try on dresses there was no help to what style/shape dress would suit me from the "consultant" at all. There is not many options for dress shopping in Dunedin which is unfortunate for us shopping.

I visited 4 bridal stores in the UK before finding my perfect dress in House of Kavina while on a trip home for logistical reasons I had to order it via a UK based store  Hilary's knowledge of her dresses and the service provided was far superior to all of other stores I visited. I just wished I could have purchased from her!

I had a fitting to get my dress altered here. I did not find the customer service very good. When I said hello and my name they responded “yep” and ushered me into a change room and started barking instructions at me.
