Very authentic northern China style food at really good prices. The boss is from Beijing, and the food definitely reflects that. We only had the dumplings and a cabbage salad this time but will be back to try the other dishes. The dumpling skins are made by hand and are exactly the way they should be, and the stuffing authentic flavours. Have a cold Tsingtao and a couple of plates of dumplings out the front!
We've been meaning to come here for a while and finally did it. Why did we wait so long?! The food was SO GOOD, so tasty. And cheap! The dumpling wrappers were such a beautiful texture and the prawn and ginger stuffing was so fresh. We also had a tofu, Sichuan pepper, chili stir fry, then the black fungus, cabbage, carrot noodles. My partner also then insisted on sweet & sour pork. This was far too much food for 2 people but we were happy to have left overs for the next few days, and had trouble stopping when we were full on account of how damn tasty it a was. Authentic, non-pretentious, affordable, delicious, hidden gem. 10/10 would recommend. I would agree with the other reviews that say, come with no time constraints - there are only 2 people working so it takes a touch longer to place your order but so worth the small wait. Tasty authentic Chinese food, generous portions in an unpretentious atmosphere with friendly service! Very reasonably priced! Best of all we did not have an upset stomach the next day Vegetarian options: Tasty
Delicious I had ginger prawn pan fried dumplings, beef and broccoli pan fried dumplings and Chinese broccoli with minced garlic - honestly best experience ever!!!! Ginger prawns were so good, big chunky prawns and the Chinese broccoli sauce was so flavourful.. DELICIOUS
Incredible food and warm service - if you are in a rush, go somewhere else. This place is all about the long game, lovely location for conversations amongst friends, the perfect place to reconnect. Great vibe.
This place is a wild and wonderful experience… The food is amazing some of the best dumplings in Melbourne hands down. The only thing is you have to come in with time on your side, it seems to a two person operation so getting a order in takes time and so does the food but just relax it is all worth it in the end! Also it is so cheep it doesn’t even make sense.
Walked past this place a few times of a morning and always wondered what the food would be like. I love dumplings and I am always on the look out for a new regular dumpling service. So, today after a late breakfast at Mixed Business I popped in for a plate of Pork and Chinese Chives, panfried dumplings. I am quite fussy about my dumplings, but these weren't bad. The dumpling wrapper was a bit thick for my liking, but they were still good. It hasn't replaced my regular, but I will keep it in mind for when the dumpling need grabs me whilst in Clifton Hill.
Outstanding food, was so good that I lost sleep and my girlfriend lost her pebbles. Would recommend. I’ll leave you to it… 5/5
OMG !! THE BEST DUMPLINGS YOU'LL DEVELOPE CRAVINGS FOR TO EAT OVER & OVER - SO DELICIOUS , SO YUUMMM !! There's also more on the menu, to choose from that's also delish !! OH & the fried rice, So Tasty - Wow-wy !!
Proper proper good dumplings! Our favourite ones are easily the prawn and ginger ones. The home made chilli sauce is to die for. This place is gem throwing out some authentic Chinese food. We usually get takeaways but you can dine in!
