Been here a few times and it's definitely the best fried chicken I've had. It's always tender and succulent chicken, with the batter crispy and light!  There's a few seasoning options to choose from, as well as multiple dishes where it suits everyone.  I also tried the fried mushrooms and they were super delicious!   Prices are reasonable for what you're buying, and the taste just cannot be matched by other companies.

My family decided to have late lunch at Sunnybank Market Square today. There are various restaurants in the Market Square and there are many tables and chairs in the central outdoor area on the 1st floor, so you can eat food from various restaurants conveniently! So, we ordered the crispy fried chicken menu with sweet garlic powder from the Taiwan No.1 fried chicken restaurant, Hot-Star large fried chicken!!! It was the first time we tried it. So, it was delicious and edible!!!

Chicken wings & crispy fried chicken used to be very good but now I think they changed the quality of the wings & chicken, inside the wings always look a-bit red & smelly. However, mushroom & calamari still good

Hot Star is such a good place to go for fried chicken! The spicy seasoning just elevates the taste and flavour of the chicken. The original and crispy chicken are huge and delicious. I especially enjoy the crispy chicken cartilage pieces. The staff there are friendly and hard working.

Got the chicken bits.. one regular one spicy. The kids absolutely love them. Can recommend either choice.. plenty of seating available in the food court area.Food: 5/5

If you want a large piece of fried chicken the size of your head then you HAVE to go here. There's a reason why this place is big in Asia, because it tastes good, they make it to order, you can choose your seasonings, it's very affordable and it's naughty as all hell.  The curly fries are good here also. Good fried chicken, great value. 8/10.

Food is good portion and tasty! Love the original chicken! Price also reasonable. Not planty in store sitting table. Not suitable for large groups. Better do takeaway.
