It used to be amazing. Best prices in town until recently. Now all of a sudden they think they’re an antique shop, A pair of shoes increased tenfold in price when I took them up to pay. Just money grabbers, out for every dollar they can make off stuff they get for free. Sad to see it going downhill so fast
I had a bad tempered, irritable volunteer at the hospice accuse me of stealing from fill a bag. The manager assumes she is right because I have a beanie on and dark. But after searching my bag, discovered she was incorrect. There is no bag policy. It was racial profiling. Whanganui Tawa St Hospice is overpriced and disappointing as a regular customer. Doesn't deserve any stars.
Most expencive op shop I've ever been to!
Can't believe how expensive this charity shop has got. No wonder there was very few people in it. Haven't been for a few months and noticed the change. Used to be soooo busy,not anymore and with the over the top prices I can understand why.
It's getting very expensive. Not really a good place to go bargain hunting. Great way to contribute to hospice funding if that's important to you. Staff are friendly and helpful.
