My wife, son and I and our little dog just spent a few days here and it's a fabulous holiday park. Sue in the office is super helpful and the cabins are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We've stayed here a few times and can highly recommend it. The holiday park is always clean and tidy with lovely facilities and is in a fabulous spot right on the river. We brought our bikes and had wonderful bike rides along the river, lots of walks, coffees by the river and there were food trucks that we frequented for meals and coffees during our stay.nWe have already booked a couple more stays here and can't wait to come back.
It's a nice park in a nice location. The cabins are fine. What I didn't like and which seems to happen in many van parks is communication of the rules, with no carrot and all stick. The one I saw in my cabin see attached photo takes the prize. There's a $50 fee or is it fine? for not washing up dishes immediately after use. For God's sake, can't paying guests just relax without fear of breaking the rules and copping a penalty for it? I get it. Guests should look after their cabins and leave them clean and tidy when checking out, but not being allowed to leave a dirty dish in the sink during the course of your stay, lest you have to pay $50 is really draconian.nnMy suggestion to management is be friendly. Welcome your guests and make them feel welcome. Be constructive in how you communicate the rules such as 'Welcome, it's our pleasure hosting you. For the benefit of all we kindly request you observe the following requirements ...' How can you relax and enjoy your stay if leaving a dirty dish in the sink during your costs you $50?
Had a lovely overnight stay in the spacious 3 bedroom cabin. Beds were comfy and rooms clean. Love love love the beautiful large fluffy bath towels. Highly recommended
Clean and tidy cabin right on the river. We took our camping chairs across the walking path and sat right on the river. Very beautiful and relaxing.
We have been here with the caravan a couple of times now. The location right by the excellent river walk and the Botanical gardens is fantastic. This last time we had to extend our stay day by day and they were so lovely and flexible. The amenities are good with lots of hot water and the sites are easy to access. There's a food kiosk here now, but we went into town instead. Sue at reception was really helpful with suggestions. Will come again!
