Room was very nice - clean, tidy and modern feel. Everything worked - always a bonus. Shower was too high up the wall for me to adjust. No hand towel but I did get two nice fluffy large towels for just me. Dined in the restaurant which was very nice - everything is share plating and the 'large' plates are huge. Suggest two small plates between two people - you can always order more and service is quick. Definitely try the tempura broccolini if they have it on the menu - menu is seasonal. Had sourdough toast for breakfast with fresh jam - best sourdough I have had in a while. It was delicious and cut thick - only just fitted in the toaster that is supplied in the room. Room has tea and coffee as well as the usual fridge/bar options. Ordered coffee with breakfast and it came in a takeaway cup - brilliant for getting on the road fast. It had lots of water in the fridge which is great if you haven't had the tap water in Horsham before - drinkable but funny taste. The doors and stairs to get to the second floor could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues so you would need to book the ground floor. Overall it was very good. The staff were very polite and friendly. There are also outdoor undercover ashtrays if you are a smoker. Definitely worth it, and great value if you can get a discounted rate.
There was fine hair in the bathroom and shower so couldn’t shower. But the worst part was the smell throughout the hotel and rooms. Save your money go somewhere else
Executive spa suite.nBig bed, very comfortable.nHWY facing room, need double glazing due to traffic noise. Only 1 washer & dryer in laundry, and being used by housekeeping, so I had to go to the laundromat.
Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, warm rooms. Very friendly service at reception, in the restaurant AND on the floor. I thought the room was very quiet. The restaurant menu was shared platters...if you want a parma and chips its not for you. If you want something delicious and not what you would cook at home you won't be disappointed. I shared with 3 others , roasted brie with sour dough, lamb with potato, salmon with spinach, gnocchi, and brussels sprouts. All delicious, all high quality all for $40 ish .No complaints from me for a special meal of this quality.
Outstanding. Great location with easy access off the highway and we didnt hear any traffic noise. Exceptionally clean refurbished rooms and good friendly service. Above all this, the restaurant was an unexpected gem - great service, choice on menu, excellent wine list and superb food.
