Desperate for some curly fries and decided to give Hooters a go I know, I know. I don't think I ever expected "value" to be in my list of complaints, but have a look at my $10.95 serve of onion rings - they tasted pretty good, but this serving size moves past stingy and into hilarious. The curly fries were more generous, but poorly seasoned and cooked in old oil with a really unpleasant burnt taste. Get it together guys - I've spent a lot of time in real dive bars, I'm not after fine dining. I just want edible food and more than 20c of onion when I order $11 onion rings :
Hooters is mostly known for good looking women serving you food in revealing clothes. This is a true statement, though the women that was serving us was not what I was expecting. She was not just good looking, but she was lovely and had a great personality. She was very helpful and gave us advice on what food to get. The food was good, I had some wings. Though extremely overpriced, my experience was good. The decoration and overall presentation of the resturant was very nice, with lots of wood textures. Though having a reputation for large breasts, this food establishment is very child orientated, with a good kids menu and games to play. The biggest downfall is the prices though. If the prices were cheaper, it would be a solid 4.
Had lunch here. Their hamburger was the driest I have ever had , but their steak was nice. Their flavours are different and your personal tastes will be the best judge. Not my thing unfortunately. The Service was good although the mains arrived before the starter and everything got cold very quickly. I had been here before and had a better experience, albeit good not great. Decent portion sizes and a clean and pleasant atmosphere.
Disgusting service. Seated immediately, waited 30 minutes to order, then another 60+ minutes to get meal- 1 dish not even supplied- yet they still tried to bill me for it. Waitress did not have any people skills. My family and I will definitely not be returning. Disappointing for my daughters birthday.
Really quiet at the time but had an enjoyable night. Jamie was great and was really interactive throughout the night. Unfortunately the food is the same it has been for the last 7 years or so, would be really good to see some new food on the menu. Great time to go because they had Hooters clothing on special so I picked up a couple of pieces. A night full of shots so it was lots of fun!! 11-2-17 Review updated from 4 to 2 stars. Really disappointing night tonight, the waitress that we had was 'on her second shift' whilst being supervised to a minimal degree, every drink order was wrong and each food order was wrong. When I spoke to the manager about it I was told it was her second shift and hopefully it will be better next time - there won't be a next time. I tried to be as constructive as possible and explain how the night was made more difficult and all I got was excuses. I understand everyone needs to learn but if you don't have our order then ask the question, I don't mind repeating myself but to just get the order wrong is frustrating. I have spent close to $1000 in the last two visits and I have no intention of making a 3rd visit. Very disappointing - go back to basics: say 'welcome to hooters' when people walk in the door like you should, dance to cotton eye joe like you should and be interactive like you should - otherwise close the doors and stop tarnishing the hooters brand.
Great food!! First time being there and can definitely say that i'll be going back again. I had the Daytona Beach Style Wings with Ranch sauce and I would definitely recommend them. I was served by Natalie the manager who gave me nice and quick service without a long wait. I then got given my food by Amie, which was very nice, and polite to me, she went above and beyond to make sure I had great service and a good experience, making sure my food got to me on time. I enjoyed my night there with 10/10 service and food.
Went in to have lunch today, was seated quickly and food was out quickly. However the sauce on the wings has been watered down and almost tastless. Waitress really didn't care. Staff also complained about how dead they we're and how they normally make 2 grand by now yet we were the only ones in the store and tables were filthy covered in dirty plates etc. Won't be returning
Extremely terrible service. WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. Visiting from Chicago. .waited for one hour for the starters wings ..and they never came. There were only 15 people in the restaurant. .not busy at all. Server didn't come to inform us. After waiting for an hour asked server where is our food.... she responded "the problem is with the kitchen ". Paid for our drinks and we got up and left. .
Service is ridiculous & food was disgusting. They had staff on however none of them wanted to work bar one manager Natalie If they were that busy I could justify it however they weren't that busy just full of lazy staff. The ribs were overcooked and had absolutely no basting again I can understand if they told us sorry we burnt your food and we have to remake it but they brought it out in it's dry state with no sauce or even an offering of sauce. When we asked for sauce they forgot and then we had to go get it. Maybe they should change it to buffet rather than ala carte as we had to get everything ourselves.
People were friendly and it stops there. Service slow. Meals cold and wouldn't have been any good even if it was still hot. Very expensive for very low value. Hungry Jack's next door must have been better. Lots of families and couples here.. Many many TV screens all playing the same football game. Burger dry and mostly bun, frozen beef Patti and undercooked curly fries. I didn't have high hopes and i was still let down... Ok, now I would like to subtract that 1 Star because as were leaving one of the wait people yelled out asking if we had payed, which is basically a public accusation. We had already payed by card at our table but after such horrible experience, I wish we had made a stand and not payed. Please avoid for your own sake. I think the beef Patti on my Burger was the frozen ones from the supermarket...
