Hooked on Middleton Beach is a Licensed Fish & Chip Cafe in Albany, Western Australia, providing you with take-away and dine in Fish & Chips, seafood and more.

We specialise in fresh, local fish & chips and seafood. At Hooked we strive to source our seafood locally, wherever possible, so you can be sure you are enjoying the flavours of the Great Southern and Western Australia.

Just had an awesome feed from this Fish & Chips place. This place was packed when we came in and rightly so.  The fish was not fishy and you didn’t feel like you felt sick from eating all this fried stuff. Had the hooked platter, fish burger and seafood basket. Every thing was tasty, cooked nicely and the place is is clean and efficient service. Fish and chip craving satisfied

Very good fish.  I really enjoyed that the menu has salad options which most fish and chip shops don't.  The staff provided quality service.  The ambience is not expected to be amazing but it was clean and not rowdy.  My family enjoyed the fish burger while I ordered the healthy bowl with grilled fish.  I feel maybe one more fillet of fish would have been nice but the meal was still very filling.  The ingredients of the salad was better then some of the nearby wineries.  The chips were generic compared to freshly made chips you can get such as the Elephant Cider company.  Definitely better than Ocean and Paddock which is down the road.

Definitely one of the best fish and chips ever. Got 2 x pieces of fish for both fish we bought. Chips were what I would expect in a top class restaurant. Staff were friendly with outstanding levels of customer service. Took our fish and chips to Middleton Beach and was just perfect. They deserve their awards.

Great ambient in the store, very nice decoration. The fish were cooked beautifully, but chips were just alright. Good portion, overall good value.

Excellent. Fish, chips and salad. Crumbed prawns wonderful Friendly efficient staff. Prices were very reasonable. A good selection of local wines and beers available at very reasonable prices.

Cheap and cheerful, bright venue with lots of space. Staff are friendly. Had the seafood basket but unfortunately the fish was imported, the other dishes were all local fish. There were some combos I would have liked separate parts from, like the octopus, but there didn't seem to be the option.

We had takeaway today after a recommendation from a local and seeing their good google reviews. the king george whiting was sold out so we got the nannygai. We also got tacos and the burger. everything was really nice except the fish. we got it plain grilled which comes floured which we didn’t know as it wasn’t advised, i’ve never had a fish grilled like this. it was inedible with no real grill which is disappointing for a $25 fish. Just need to keep in mind that grilled is not just as it suggests, it’s floured. We did reach out to the restaurant to say we had a bad experience and they apologised and said they’d been doing it this way for 20 years without complaint. Just something to keep in mind if ordering the grilled fish. I would not return or recommend.

So sad to see a 13$ piece of fish being smaller than my hand. Add chips for 3.50 and it may look better but for someone who only wanted fish it's very sad. Seafood platter looks ok. Was very quick which was nice.Food: 2/5

Favourite fish and chips shop ever! Even though we live in Perth our yearly trips down to Albany make us so excited for this fish and chips. The fish is always so fresh and flavourful and the new menu is amazing. The new salad calamari bowl is not only very tasty it is also very good value for money. Lots of fresh ingredients and bright colours in one bowl of deliciousness. Would highly recommend.  Since our first visit here Hooked has become a tradition for our annual family holidays. It’s a must do stop for our family.

Variety of fresh fish straight off the boat. Absolutely delicious! Grilled to perfection with crispy chips. Tacos so tasty.
