Yesterday I tried this restaurant and surprisingly the food was really really good, i ordered the Black Pepper beef toss noodle. The black pepper beef and the noodle it's a perfect combination, i really enjoyed my food The service was really fast and well, worth to the money. I will come back very soon!!
Food is always nice here, I came here more than 5 times and was always happy to try new menus cause the price is very affordable. Their dimsum and main dishes are very nice! My favourite is green dumpling with panfried, and prawn dumpling : Their wonton noodles soup and braised beef rice were very very nice too. And 10/10 for the place
The worst xiao long bao’s ever. Dumplings were all shrivelled up, there was no taste, just very bad fatty pork, AND the meat was still raw inside. Horrible experience.Food: 1/5
Actually atrocious, this is not representative of Hong Kong food at all. The shallot pancakes had so much dough and yet tasted like nothing barely any oil and were so tough; the combination noodle soup literally smelled and tasted like the plastic bowl that it came in, which is unheard of; and the mushroom noodles were way too salty and noodles were clumpy. The only saving grace was the atmosphere of the place. Would not recommend this to anyone. You're better off eating anywhere else tbh
Have to update my review as now 1st of August 2023: Went there for lunch, and got extremely disappointed!!! 0 similarity to the pork chop dan dan noodles I had loved so much a year ago. An absolute joke at the meat quantity given. Broth was tasteless. 2 poor Bok Choi dumped into the soup. Massive zero, extremely disappointed as I remembered liking it so much. 2022: Been there a few times, always getting the pork chop dan dan noodles which has never disappointed. Seriously delicious. Service used to be really slow, but today got my food really fast and it was really yummy
So disappointing. Their dan dan noodles isn't dan dan noodles at all. It's just plain noodles with clear soup with some chilli oil. I could probably get better food from an instant noodle.Food: 1/5
Disgusting. Just ordered 4, tiny xiao long bao, they were clearly store bought and frozen. $12, inedible, one was definitely rotten. Staff hygiene is non existent, no hair nets, no gloves, wiping their faces with their hands and then touching the food... So gross...Food: 1/5
Not good and wayyyyyyy overpriced. $11.90 for 4 xiaolongbao, which I'm guessing were mass manufactured and frozen. They weren't awful, I didn't get food poisoning, but certainly not worth nearly $3 each. By comparison $12 would buy you a proper meal at any other stall at spice alley, or almost twice as many xiaolongbaos at Dintaifung, which are 20x better. Don't waste your money.
I am very though in giving stars and reviews, but I would like to give 5 star to this kitchen Customer service: excellent Value for money : great Taste: great Cost: affordable
If you enjoy seeing 5 groups of people getting their food before you when they ordered after you then this place is for you. If you enjoy luke warm food which is not entirely what you ordered then this place is for you. Incredibly average. Don't bother. Wish I read all these reviews first.
