Great friendly service - good coffee - wholesome big breakfast. The hot chocolate had tad too much chocolate if that was ever possible! and toast was a bit thin but other than that it was really good. The service was really quick when the cafe was really busy on the long weekend Monday.
We had consistently fantastic breakfast and coffees here over 3 days while visiting the area. Fast service and lovely staff. Highlights were anything with the hash browns and we had excellent coffee each time that my partner who is picky about coffee was extremely pleased with - highly recommend stopping by!
What a pleasant surprise to stumble across Hometown Cafe whilst travelling through Lithgow. Everything about this cafe is an absolute delight beginning with the welcoming smiles as you enter. Food options are great and everything served was fresh. Most importantly, the coffee was first class! Hometown cafe is well worth taking a detour for. 5 stars
Amazing, stylish cafe in Lithgow. Beautiful interior. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were generous. Kids enjoyed the waffles. Coffee was great.. definitely will go back if will be in Lithgow next time.
Great choice of reggae music. Very disappointed that our big brekkys took 34 min to arrive seeing as we only had a 30 min work break - we had to rush to eat. There was only one other table of customers in the cafe at the time. One of the staff cleared a table but left food, crumbs and banana bread pieces on the table and floor. Lots of flies inside.
We came in a large group of seven and had to wait over an hour for our food. Though when it finally came out, the food was delicious! Would recommend coming in a smaller group so hopefully you receive your food in a more timely way.
The place is a gem to the area! Simply amazing food at its best. The staff are amazing and liven the atmosphere of the Cafe. Vegetarian options: Variety of options. Kid-friendliness: Have kid activities to keep them busy. Parking: Street parking available
Had lunch on our way to Orange. Food is good. Just want to suggest regarding the big breakfast, the bacon was salty. It will be better if you can make some kinda of improvement.
The best everything here is delicious, and they do the best turmeric lattes and chai tea in town! Awesome staff too
Overrated cafe. Waited 40 minutes for the breakfast to be prepared, although there were empty tables inside. Could have told us that is the long queue or not enough staff. Burger was so so with burned bacon.
