We went to Holy Trinity Cathedral last night for a Candlelight Concert featuring Hans Zimmer music . It was a truly beautiful experience, the venue, the candlelight, the beautiful music made an unforgettable experience.
An absolute phenomenal concert and experience. We had an amazing time and wished it went on longer. The musicians were incredible and you could just see, feel, and hear their passion in each piece of music they performed. My autistic daughter had an awesome time and was just memorised by the music. It helps calm her, and decompress. Highly recommend the Fever Candlelight concerts.
I visited Holy Trinity Cathedral for a school choir competition, and wow... what an amazing place. The interior is absolutely stunning, and the moment you step inside, you're just in awe of the beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere. The design, the acoustics, and the overall vibe make it a really special place. You have to see it for yourself to truly appreciate it. Whether you're here for an event, a service, or just to look around, I reckon it's definitely worth a visit.
Definitely worth it so beautiful this really did something to my soul only problem I had was it was to short but thank you definitely will come again for a different one next time
An experience that can only be described as magical!!! The concert took place at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Auckland. It started on time 6:30pm and was really well organized - there were assistants to guide us to our seats and we didn't wait long before the concert began.nnThe cathedral was beautifully decorated with battery operated candles, laid out on the main stage and at the start of each row of seats. This definitely added a warm touch to the cathedral which has beautifully stained glass and high ceilings with stunning architecture!nnThe concert was led by the Kulios, and was a tribute to Coldplay and Imagine Dragons.. each artist had us entranced by their talent and the instruments which they played beautifully!nnThe audience was advised before the start of the concert, that all mobile devices were to be placed on silent, and that photos and videos will only be allowed when the last song is played. The audience definitely abided by this request and it was great to see the assistants keeping an eye out just in case any mobile devices were in use.nnThe lead artist notified us of when the last song was going to be played, and it was at this point that all devices were out and in full use nnOnce the concert ended, the audience were allowed to take photos and videos of the main stage and we certainly had a ball doing so! nnI've rated the overall experience a 4/5: This is because the concert took place at a time when there was still light outdoors - the candles and it's ambience could not be fully experienced and immersed in, as daylight was shining through the cathedral doors which were all transparent glass.nnThis was the only downside - I wish the concert could have been at a time when the sun was completely down, therefore the cathedral would have been dark enough to fully see the candles and experience it's ambience. Other than this, it was a great first time experience which I would highly recommend to others, just bearing in mind that the candles may not be fully experienced due to venue lighting and the time of your concert
