as a former student who left this school in 4th grade 2019, I just wanted to say my own experience that this school sucked so bad and i hated it. Through my experience bullied by my peers and also my teachers, you know one of the teacher ms page pushed me in year 3 when she cant do that. I ask myself why she would do that to a student that didnt know anything and that is autistic. Your school setted a bad example for all people and this school is even a catholic school, Im very disappointed to hear that the principal is also setting a bad example through this school causing a tryant throughout the school, abusing her power at the wrongs and making the whole school to its end. This school needs better improvements for parents to approve this schools allocated for their kids to learn. Also word for advice for the teachers, you all need to learn how to behave through your students and how to comfort their well beings and such, that ms page teacher is lucky i didnt tell my mum cus she would sue out of her for child abusement, you guys are by far a bad example of a school ever. You all need to do better and the principal needs huge improvements through the balance of their power they have with the school and know better with their mistakes and such. history cant repeat itself ms davids, countine this and the school will fall and no parents would not allow their kids to be here if you keep your act up. -Former student who came in 2015
My daughter went for one term. That was enough for us. Support promised never given, psgs promised fortnightly only delivered once, extension work of sorts promised never happened, too inconvenient to organise. If you're kids are studious, avoid at all costs. If your kids are not so studious and just need a happy bright safe encoder with great wellbeing, and academics is not important to you and your kids then it's a good - if you want academics, honestly don't bother. It's an expensive playdate. If you're after no or little academics then you might be OK it's "nice", the facilities are good for a catholic school.
We’re so lucky to have found such a fantastic school! Both my kids attend Holy Family and they’ve fitted in so well to this community. All the staff are welcoming, supportive, caring, kind and encouraging to everyone. Multiple events for parents, children and friends helps build the community feel. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Holy Family to anyone!
I’m so happy I put my son in this school. As a parent of a child with special needs, all I can say is this school is very inclusive and they make sure everybody is included and feel safe. Even my son says everyone is so nice and never bully him. His teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure he achieves his learning plan.
We currently have both of our children attending Holy Family Primary School. We chose this school on the back of positive feedback from current and past parents who promoted it as a small but strong community primary school with a focus on Student well being, education and families. Both my husband and I have not been disappointed. Even during these challenging times of Covid19, Julie David and her awesome team continue to put the needs of the children and their families first. We cannot fault the level of communication that comes from the school and the high level of teacher/student/parent engagement. We would not hesitate to recommend Holy Family Primary School and we look forward to both of our children finishing their Primary School years at this wonderful establishment.
We have been part of the Holy Family School Community for 11 years now, with our youngest finishing year 6 at the end of this year. We have seen many changes take place at the school including staff, facilities and learning areas. However the continued strong and positive leadership team at the school has always insured that the caring and inclusive culture, the Catholic values and the dedication of all the staff to the well being of the students and their families have remained constant. If we had to make the choice again, we would choose Holy Family School without hesitation.
You cannot ask for a better school for your child. Professional, caring, supportive, wonderful facilities, latest technology, fresh and clean classroom spaces, inspiring teachers and an amazing leadership team in principal and vice principal. The list goes on! This is our final year at Holy family and after 8 wonderful and memorable years, we truly feel blessed to have been part of such a wonderful community. Thank you Holy Family for the great teamwork we shared together as parents and school, having one goal in mind, and that is to give our children a solid foundation, a memorable experience and an inspirational primary education. I highly recommend this amazing school!
Holy Family has been such a great school for our two daughters, who have thrived in the last six years we have been there. The school has a fantastic team of dedicated teachers who all work together under the leadership of a highly professional, kind and caring principal, Julie David, to deliver the best educational opportunities for our girls in a family orientated and friendly environment. The school's adaptability and flexible learning options for continued education and ongoing support to ensure student and family wellbeing during this difficult time has been simply outstanding. The careful integration of older students and students from other local high schools in the education of the younger students as they transition through the grades has been a particularly wonderful experience for our girls. At Holy Family, our girl's primary education is in such great hands, having access to all the individualised learning support they need in order to succeed and in preparation for secondary school. In addition, the Holy Family school community is such a lovely group of families, and as such our family has developed many special friendships. We have another two little ones yet to embark on their primary school years and we will not hesitate look to Holy Family to deliver their primary education.
Holy Family School Mt Waverley has been the most wonderful learning environment for my three children. The state of the art facilities and bright colorful play areas makes it such a happy, fun place. But the thing that stands out the most is the care and nurture that the wonderful staff provide to each and every child and their family's. Not only are the students getting a fantastic education but they are learning valuable life skills and good morals.
Holy Family is a wonderful school and community, a place where my daughter thrives, in her learning, growing, social skills and friendships. The teachers, staff and principals are amazing, each one making every effort to make sure you are welcome!
