Holy Basil Thai Takeaway Restaurant

This Thai style restaurant is located at northern side of pacific highway around Artarmon if you drive from chatswood to city. There are few good dishes much try, deep fried chicken, chill Basil king prawns, deep friend chicken and steam dim sim.

Mixed feelings on this as I would not dine in as the decor is not really there , take away only I suggest Hmmm as for the food well it’s authentic but I had better in Melbourne It gets a lot of take aways and that’s probably the way to go

Great way to finish eating for 25 hours with a fine curry and rice at Holy Basil. Quick service, friendly staff. The atmosphere is less-than, but the food more than makes up for it. Good value and a senior's discount as well.

Pad kee mao, my favourite Thai dish, it is very disappointing here, doesn’t taste like the usual Thai flavour, and very salty.

Such a cute restaurant and a hidden gem of the Artarmon business area. They have super-affordable meals for both lunch and dinner, which are also really tasty. I've had their green curry and egg fried rice and thoroughly enjoyed both. My boyfriend loves the pad kee mao as well as their money bags. For lunch, they have a special of chicken, beef, pork or vegetable dishes a select few for $10 or those same few with prawns for $13. I think this is pretty good value for a cheap and tasty lunch! The interior is lacking, but charming. It's like the old Thai place you'd go to with your family for a lazy afternoon meal. The service was great - staff were happy and friendly when I was ordering! Great food! Super friendly staff, this is our regular go to , we love the beef hokkien noodles + pork belly & kailan with a side of rice … everything is so delicious. If you live local call the restaurant direct for free fast delivery.

Initially thought it was a franchise of the Canley Vale’s Holy Basil and was expecting to see fried ice cream on the menu. The taste and the menu is very different and independent from the popular Thai restaurant. The service is efficient and very friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised at the good flavours, and value, of the Thai food at this restaurant.
