This review is directly for I.T. teacher J.W. He never clarifies when you ask him to explain things, just looks down upon you. Holds grudges against students who call him out for his mistakes and inappropriate behavior. Completely unprofessional.
I did cert 3 in cabinet making years ago constantly bullied by class mates struggled with the course teachers were happy for me to sit around like a wierdo and do nothing because I didn't know what to do.
I studied an advanced diploma of graphic design here. What a waste of time it was, all students left the course not knowing how to do website design the teacher kept getting swapped out and would rarely attend, did we get offered any reimbursement? No. we were never taught video editing or anything else. The computers were so outdated and old I had to use 2 computers at once to multi task my work flow. The teachers did not care about your outcomes at all, in fact I had a teacher wait until it was 3 days until my end project to tell me I wasn’t able to use plastic in my packaging design. Although she agreed that it was a more realistic package material when I first put forward my design The teachers are un organised and didn’t have the industry skills to teacher relevant skillset this is why they started teaching I spent $8000 on the advanced diploma and it was not any different from the diploma of graphic design. I would strictly advise anyone to source other options before coming here as soon as they have your money you are in the “we don’t care” pile.
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible experience I had at Holmesglen, Chadstone . My journey here was nothing short of wonderful, and I would like to extend my thanks to everyone who played a part in making it so. First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my tutors, Carly and David. The course I undertook was undoubtedly challenging, but with your unwavering help, encouragement, and support, I managed to achieve my goals. Your dedication to your students does not go unnoticed, and I am truly thankful for your guidance. One of the aspects that made my experience at Holmesglen Chadstone so delightful was the friendly environment. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I felt welcomed. The cafes were a great place to unwind, and the people who work here are exceptionally warm and helpful. In conclusion, I believe that Holmesglen Chadstone is one of the best places to study. The supportive staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent facilities all contributed to a memorable educational journey. I couldn't have asked for a better learning experience. Thank you once again for everything.
Did my Cert IV in Stonemasonry here. Best trade school around, awesome teachers, awesome facilities. So many courses to choose from. So many great memories. I miss my trade school days. You'll still see the stone drinking fountain our class made outside the library. So much fun but we also learnt so much. The Cafe was unreal too. Holmesglen Institute was terrific, I would recommend it to anyone who is after a cert or diploma.
This institution is one of the worst place to study and get your qualification. Last year on October I attended for open day session and the course coordinator told me the last day for the enrolment is 23th February 2023. However I did my enrolment before 23th and I got a call from the coordinator and telling me the admission is closed for this semester. What kind of misleading information does the teachers are providing for students? Do you guys think students coming to your college to study and pay theirs fees are absolutely stupid and you can trick them? Guys please do not waste your time in this college. The teachers are thinking about their own profit and knows the ways to rip everyone off.
I would strictly advise not to attend here. They fail students for profitability reasons and have a significantly lower standard of education aswell as educators compared to other institutions. They insist on making copious amounts of money at the expense of vulnerable international students. There is also no process set in place foe dispute management and the individual lecturers alter the coursework with their own discretion. If you value your sanity and your precious time and resources DO NOT ATTEND HERE OR RISK THEM FAILING YOU CONSTANTLY TO KEEP YOU PAYING THEM. Would rate zero stars if I could. Absolutely unacceptable for any insititution.
This campus is quite modern and well located next to a train station, 903 bus route and main road. Really a great tafe for those wanting to learn English. :
I did part time evening class beside my work. It has been a great experience. Comparing to my uni experience, I find them highly responsive and resolve issues very quickly including IT issues and student service.
IT department is pathetic. They never slove your IT ssues. One IT lady don't know how to talk. She is very rude.
