It's far away from the city - pre-plan your public transportation! Amenities were great, pool, mini golf, fun for the whole family. Stayed in the tent sites at the back of the park. Tent sites are far away from everything but decently sized and private with rows of trees between each site, up against a green belt on the back side. I didn't have any spectacular highlights about my stay here, but neither was I displeased. Walkability: Very poor walkability score - it isn't close to anything. Will need to rely on car or public transportation
Well located. 20 min drive to the city and a short drive to a large mall for supplies or restaurants. Stayed a week at a powered campsite which in itself was clean , private and large enough for a large tent and car. There is no camp kitchen but quite a few clean fridges and sinks in the laundry blocks. Amenities were spotless and well maintained. They were a bit a walk from the campsites though which is troublesome in the rain or chilly nights which was really my only concern with the place which was otherwise a delight. Will definitely consider going back here.
Exceptional holiday park to stay at. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. There is a small café/restaurant right next to the pool areas toddler pool and adult pool which is fantastic for families. Plenty of laundry facilities, on-site wifi, complimentary milk to get you out of trouble for that first cuppa in the morning! Very clean and tidy premises. We stayed in an alfresco cabin and it was one of the cleanest places I have stayed - including 5 star hotels. Modern, new appliances, everything you need away from home. All I needed to bring was clothes, toiletries and laptop. Rooms: Rooms are adequately sized with extra blankets in rooms. Lighting is configured so that you have a switch next to each side of the bed, including the bunk beds in second bedroom - to switch the lights off. Nearby activities: Facilities include tennis, table tennis, mini golf complimentary two games included in stay, Westfield shopping centre is a 2 min drive away, Brisbane city 20 mins. Safety: The resort facilities are quiet and safe with the grounds having a boom gate for cars to enter and exit. Walkability: It’s lovely to walk around the grounds as they are very well kept. It’s largely flat with a few areas a small incline. All manageable. Food & drinks: There are vending machines as well as the restaurant/cafe on site for food and drinks. The cafe also has some provisions for guests to purchase and it’s not outrageously expensive.
Our family stayed at the village for 12 days and loved every moment. The Penthouse was well supplied with everything our family needed. Our kids loved the pool and play facilities. A beautiful clean family friendly place to stay will vacationing in Brisbane. Thank you to the wonderful staff who were amazing and so helpful.
We stayed in the powered tent sites so not sure what the cabins are like. Loved the tents sites, we had heavy rain on one of our nights and the ground stayed dry and drained amazingly. A lot of walking as the toilets are far from the tent sites, but I suppose that's a good thing. Restaurant is a little underwhelming the salad I ordered was basic and expensive. Just need a covered bbq wash basin set up closer to the bbq area for larger tenting groups and a closer toilet even better but otherwise are very great place. Nearby activities: Amazing pool.
The staff were great, polite and excellent customer service. The layout of the village was odd, there was no path or road when you reached the camping area and it was on a hill so as soon as it rained the ground was muddy, this was extremely challenging when leaving as our van was skidding through. The amnesties was also in the middle of all the cabins a fair walk from the camping area. No camp kitchen also! Expensive for what you get.
Great park with fantastic amenities! We will definitely be coming back. We had a unpowered grass spot, nice and shady. The cabins look amazing though. So many different options
A huge thank you for your hospitality, impeccable service and outstanding accommodation. Mixing business with pleasure, your team were warm and welcoming and a pleasure to train. Looking forward to staying with you again when we are back up north. Gwyn, Louise and LeonRooms: 5/5
Brisbane holiday village was a good experience. The ammenities are great and the staff very helpful. The toilet and showers are dating a bit, however, that doesn’t detract from the function. The restaurant was ok, we didn’t choose to go back, instead opting for other food and beverage locations in a 5k radius. We camped in one of the side locations which was nice and quiet. Thanks for the stay
First off The Customer Service is absolutely disgusting, the employees talk to you like your nothing & I’ve had nothing but disrespect since I’ve stayed here. I would never stay again I recommend the BIG4 over at the gold coast as I won’t be coming back. When you ask for a refund they completely blacklist you from the campsite and say your not allowed to stay again which is absolutely ridiculous. Lots of noise of a night time made by other campers & kids plugging out electric wires turning my caravans fridge off and made the food go warm. I definitely do not recommend this site please stay far away. The toilets are full of dirt and showers absolutely stink these guys aren’t professional at all. I don’t know how G’day parks are affiliated with these guys if they knew what was going on.
