If trying to decide which Tamar Valley cellar door to visit, be sure to put Holm Oak at the top of your list. Even for the experienced wine enthusiast, you will surely learn something from the friendly, knowledgeable staff here. Not only are their explanations thoughtfully detailed, the written tasting notes will sure prove enlightening, as well. For fellow pinor noir lovers, the supplemental 4 glass tasting flight is also highly recommended.

The cellar door staff are a credit to their employers at Holm Oak Vineyard.... Not only for the delightful friendly approach , but also for their knowledge, passion for their work , and their utter willingness to be helpful...I was highly impressed with their obvious "buy in" to the big picture and philosophy of the owners and managers. Congratulations to you this does not just happen .. it is cultivated by much effort skilful and subtle management....

Narelle was very personable and knowledgeable Her interaction was first class attentive and interactive. A lovely setting we loved the Riesling,Pinot Gris, Wizard Chardy and the Muscat with white fudge

Visited for the first time in July after seeing Holm Oak on the Vines TV series. Some very good wines being produced by Bec and Tim. I opened the 2017 Riesling last night, which was outstanding! I have not seen any reviews yet, but it will rate highly.

Went to visit a range of vineyards including Holm Oak Vineyard on our recent trip to Tasmania. The wines at Holm Oak are absolutely delicious & they have a good range to suit all palates. The service provided by our tasting hostess Narelle was outstanding. Narelle had a fantastic knowledge of the wine production processes utilised at Holm Oak & was easily able to answer all queries posed to her. We especially enjoyed her friendly down to earth attitude & wicked sense of humour, which made our visit just awesome. So awesome in fact we felt compelled to make a special trip to visit a second time before we left Tassie, & of course purchase more wines. Would highly recommend this cellar door experience as all staff were wonderfully welcoming & the products on offer are excellent.
