Sep 2023. Very disappointed with the Marri Meander walk. Looks like a small skid steer Bobcat had just recently been through to create the walk by pushing its way through the undergrowth. A long walk for not much to see. The picnic spot was a just introduction to the walk - old, neglected and poorly maintained. The newer shelter with barbecue would be handy for what I assume are the main users of this site - mountain bike riders.

Lovely spot, undercover seats and tables and undercover gas bbq which is a plus if it's light raining. There is a public toilet past the hollow butt karri tree.  Very nice walks. I did see a tiger snake in the leaves do take care but it's definitely a pretty place in the tall trees.

Great spot for walking, bird watching & a picnic. Shelter, tables BBQ. Toilets available at rec centre.
