I have been to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sunshine Coast about 4 times now. Each time it just gets better and better. The staff are so friendly, the level of professionalism of each staff member is fantastic and they all go above and beyond to help no matter your question. The food is great value for money, and breakfast is inclusive of the price. The location is fantastic because it is very much central to all my needs. The rooms are clean and each time you get housekeeping it feels as if you're stepping into the room like when you first get here - again, if you want to be eco-friendly you can opt-out for housekeeping services. Would definitely recommend to anyone. There's a pool also, which is fantastic if you want to lay next to the pool on the sun-lounge and read a book or if you need to catch up on some computer work there's tables readily available for you to do so, it is a very relaxing environment every time you come here.
So grateful for the free breakfast. Not as big of a breakfast as some places and still delicious. Our kids loved the pool and spent hours playing there. The view from the rooftop pool was also super cool. Hopefully the new construction around the hotel doesn’t obstruct the view. Also, their chrome cast on the smart TVs worked great to put kid friendly shows on. They don’t have many available channels on their own TV networks for kids.
This hotel impressed us deeply with friendly staffs, hotel cleanliness and hot buffet. Hence, without a doubt, we came back for our second visit. A special big thank you to the front check-in staff David who welcomed us warmly and fulfilled all my room requests and beyond. Thank you for another great stay!
The best thing about our stay at the Holiday Inn was, without doubt, the free buffet breakfast. The kitchen staff were exceptional. They ensured that the food was plentiful and fresh. This service is the thing that will make us repeat customers. The one issue was trying to connect to the streaming services. We did not manage to achieve it. This was really disappointing, and l expect that we are not the only people to find this challenging. The breakfast saved the day!
For a two year old hotel, it is really maintained and clean.nThe rooms are quiet and have a feature of a sliding wall to divide the room. Two monitors in the room.nnGood breakfast.nnLimited parking on-site, but paid parking across the street.
