If I can give zero star I will definitely give it -5 star. The food is very terrible. I order one str-fir nood. The picture in their manu looks spicy. But actually it is super sweet and salty. I think the surge or soy sauce is totally free in their kitchen. People should enjoy eat food. But food here can “kill” people. I won't come to this place again even if I am hungry to die.
Whilst I appreciate the high inflation rate, to charge $20 for a prawn laksa that only has 4 prawns and a small spoon full of vegetables is a bit steep.
Ordered Seafood and meat noodles, hardly meat in there, 1 small prawn, tasteless, very expensive too$16.90 Didn't provide chili sauces, too stingy. Disappointed, better go somewhere else next time : Please look at your review, shocking, listen to your customers before you have less and less everyday. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering.
OOOPS! they were in such a hurry to close and clean today they forgot the flavour!! Seriously-I ordered Teriyaki stir fry and there was no even a hint of sauce in there just plain old noodles.
This is the worst ever stir Fried noodle I had in Canberra. I ordered chicken stir fried noodle with garlic soy sauce for $14.90. The amount is adequate. However, it looks dry. There is no flavour except the saltiness from the plain soy sauce. One woman came to complain about her noodle dish, saying it was disgusting. I can double confirm it is awful. It's not worth that money for amateur cooking like this.
Don’t go here if you’re looking for good value, tasty food. Service is terrible and slow, shop is run by incompetent careless staff. They got my order wrong and then made it seem like it was my fault that they added extra bean sprout when I specifically asked for NONE because I am pregnant. I understand that people make mistakes, but they were not apologetic at all for making me wait 20 minutes for a dish, they were just rude and unhelpful. Food wasn’t great either, plenty of other decent places to eat in the centre. The dishes cooked to order look nothing like the photos.
I paid for my meal $14,90 a medium size with 2 choices and they gave me the rice burnt at the bottom of the pot. Terrible experience, expensive meal. With $14,90 you will get better meals and more food somewhere else better than this place , I will never buy food at this place again.
I’m surprised by the reviews - I ordered for the first time from here 2 x freshly made special fried rice and I can easily say they were the best I’ve ever had!! I chose chicken and fresh prawns as the meat and along with the yummy rice it also included big florets of Brocolli, peas, carrots etc - yes was a little over priced ... but worth it in my opinion - would have paid the same amount from any other similar restaurant this evening I was planning on ordering and having home delivered but with the convenience of it being located within the Canberra centre where I had been shopping made it very convenient - only a short wait time while I ducked into another store - will def be back
I went in this hokka hokka restaurant 2days ago with my friends. Worst customer service and worst food ever. The lady in the counter with the glasses was speaking very loudly with us. When we ask why was she being loud to us she said its because she was wearing a mask. She sounded so rude.
Ordered freshly cooked stir fry. Box was mainly noodle and not much else. No flavour and very poor quality. While waiting I saw two other customers return their food. One was cold, one said absolutely no taste. Pretty awful.
