Thought we would give them a go as the prices looked reasonable. Service was good. The entree was fine. My main was the Aussie 18 Hour Slow Cooked Prime Rib Steak ... I regret choosing it! There was far too much uncooked fat, not worth the $40, not even worth $20. I left half of it because it was fatty and inedible ... I felt unwell after eating it. NEVER AGAIN! Also, why do the female waiters all wear skimpy denim shorts but the guys wear jeans ... very sexist! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!
It’s hogs breath. The food was ok. Steak was slightly cold when I got it and the half lobster was over cooked and dry. The waiter that served me was very friendly and helpful. The female wait staff on the other hand that where there on the night could learn a thing or two about customer service, one walked past me 5 times ignoring the empty dishes, they also had a bad habit of yelling to each other from opposite ends of the restaurant. Not very pleasant when you are trying to enjoy your mean.
Was skeptical to try such a tacky looking place but I must admit it was a pretty flawless experience. The waitress was particularly friendly and helpful and did not bat an eyelid when asked to customize both mine and my wife's meals. In fact the service from all staff was fantastic and we felt very comfortable. Food was perfect, the only reason it does not get Excellent is that I was starving and in turn not equipped to properly review it.
Food and service both okay!
Small portions, poorly drained vegetables left the plate awash with water, and the service was incredibly slow, with not enough staff to cater for the number of patrons. We left without getting everything we'd paid for because we just couldn't wait any longer. It's not cheap, so I'd expect much better.
Great brand, great rib and steak. But the manager has destroyed all the good feeling for this place. Refused to give us a table because of we had half cup of coffee from Starbucks. After threw the coffee, the manager gave us a tiny square table for four of us and one of the guy was 195cm. The manager also refused to switch table for us because other tables were meant for 5 people. It is necessary to point out that we went there at 5:30pm on Monday and there were only few guests in the restaurant. Go somewhere else or go when the 30 years male manager is off duty.
Took 40mins for our first drinks, ran out of steaks. They had no mash to go with my lamb shanks and told us all this after we placed our order. Never got asked for a 2nd drinks cause they were to embarrassed.
Ordered the reef n beef which was supposed to be a medium well steak with calamari and coconut crumbed prawns, I asked for no sauce...it arrived with the steak burned on the bottom, so overcooked it was grey on the inside, 2 crumbed calamari rings and 3 prawns not crumbed at all and very chewy, all smothered in sweet chilli sauce. The cherry tomatos in the salad tasted fermented...definately not worth the $30+ price tag...I would give this place a miss!
We would visit monthly prior the new menu, it was the kids favourite place. I feel the new menu is a backwards step. Service is generally very good. Child friendly and great for large groups.
