First time back here after year and must say absolutely everything has improved! The food, the service, the drinks and the atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyable and delicious.
Customer service was very poor. It’s a shame because the food was nice. I ordered 2 chicken schnitzels. One with no gravy and just tomato sauce and the other with gravy as specified on the $14.95special My daughters came out covered in gravy and tomato sauce on the side.I asked the young lady if we could get no gravy. She took plate away and came out with the right order. We then had to face a cranky older lady who raised her voice to me saying that the lunch special is as the menu states and they can’t change it. I then paid and noticed we had been charged an additional $2.95 for the gravy on my schnitzel. I said that I didn’t order additional gravy. She began to get cranky again. I said there is no need to talk to me like this and that I wouldn’t be back. Customer service was very poor. Her name was Lisa on the receipt and I vow never to return.
Been a while since I have been here last, but the the staff are still as cordial as ever, the music selection provides an inviting atmosphere. The table was very clean and the food was delicious
Food was great, drinks were great. Young man Adam was very attentive and helpful when approached by us. Yet we didn't appreciate the manner in which a mature woman staff member obviously- wearing no name tag address us when we communicated that part of the meal didn't come out. Her approach was far from professional. And further from professional when she approached her own staff and has words with him, not considering that we're right there and can hear her rude manner in which she pulled him up. Bit of something.!!.. staff there are doing their absolute best. Get your act together have some respect for customers as well as your staff
Order took 30 mins too arrive. Had to get our own cutlery. No checking if we're ok with meals when we got them or further drinks required. Steak cold. Won't be going back.
The curly fries and cheese garlic bread were average tasting and with the burger you could only taste the Smokey BBQ sauce. Other than that I had a good experience with the staff
We have been going to Hog's breath for the past several years since we moved to the area . We went for dinner tonight Saturday evening. We were a group of 6 including a 2 year old. Our booking was at 8 pm. The place was half empty. An older lady who looked like she was the supervisor, made us a at the tables across from the bar. We had even ordered a high chair when we made our booking. We told the lady that we would like to sit somewhere quieter as the seats were not child friendly. . And we asked to be moved to the bench seats away from the bar. The lady was cranky and said no and that all the seats were taken and we have to sit there. It was 8 pm and the place closes at 9 pm and was nearly empty. A young guy came to take our order. We requested that we be seated at the the other seats. The guy went and asked the lady and he came back and said that those seats were taken. I told him we always come here and we always sit at the other seats as that way we can seat the kids inner seats and the 2 year old is a bit secure that way. I explained to him. All this took nearly 15 minutes. The guy eventually moved us. And the lady told us to take the menus with us. Obviously she was trying to be a bully and lied that the tables were taken when it was close to closing time . After insisting , we finally moved to seats that we asked for. The high chair was totally forgotten. What could have been sorted within two minutes by a sensible hostess turned into an show of upmanship by the cranky lady. So much so for the so called "hogsipitality". Things went smooth from there The young guy who took our orders even came to say goodnight at the end of his shift. We have been going there for years , and never faced something like this. It's disappointing as we like the place and the food. Had it not been for the stubborn and a bully of a hostess ,the experience would have been much better. The rest of the staff were excellent as always and the good was good as usual . I note as per other reviews here, other people have had issues with this particular person. This attitude goes against the spirit of hospitality that Hogs breath is famous for. We have been regulars for years as they are kids friendly and I am disappointed that I have to give a single star. We would like to keep going back, but it would help if the cranky lady whose name I think is Lisa changes her aggressive inflexible attitude.
The food was pretty good and the service was amazing. Our waiter was a gentleman and was such a friendly person. I just had to tip $5
Meals have gotten smaller whilst price has gone up. Got ceaser salad with small grilled DRY chicken... $4.95 for that amount. This was the last time I was coming here in hopes of it being better. I was mistaken. As regular customers we won't be back
Went here on a busy Saturday for lunch. The staff were extremely friendly, food was excellent and the prices were great for a Westfield property. I had the crispy chicken burger which was delish and quite filling. Their curly hot chips were a hit with my 2 year old. He ate his and mine! Will definitely visit again when I’m in the neighbourhood. A special shout out to the friendly staff who offered to let my mother in law eat her take away meal from the food court. They went over and above to even plate it for her! Now that’s the true Aussie spirit!
