No service Not even a smile Staff showed a 'get out of here' face when we arrived at 6.50 or so. Over cooked steak Terrible presentation on dirty plates Sticky tables... Fries look like smashed Ordered steak with sauce but the sauce was missing Can't find staff until the bill time Hog's is awesome both in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Can't understand why it's that horrible here. Two-star to appreciate that we had something to eat at least.
I had been so excited to try this place as my partner raved about it for a long time. The staff were very friendly and guided us to our seats. The food is pricy but it’s nice for going out and special occasions. The food wasn’t exactly mind blowing but it was my first time having curly fries and I think they were the best. The place did look incredible and has a nice feel to it, would of loved to have tried the desserts.
Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way down to Port Macquarie. $9.90 lunch deal of Calamari Salad hit the spot perfectly. Lovely friendly staff and delicious Lemon Lime n Bitters for the driver. We may stop in again on the way back to QLD.
It’s been a while since I got service this bad from a “restaurant”. It looks like none of those people actually wants to be here and the service definitely shows that. Good was sub-par, under seasoned and tasteless. Bar staff have no clue about alcohol. I’m not sure how much money the owners sunk into this place but I feel sorry for them. No wonder this place is empty on Friday afternoon. Still took 15 mins for my drinks to be ready.
We were a group of 8. I rang earlier in the day to ask if they could take our booking for 8.30pm - half an hour before closing for dessert and a drink. They were so accommodating! The staff were fabulous and so friendly. The desserts and drinks were delicious! You wouldn't have know it was closing time at all. Highly recommend!
Fried chicken was absolute garbage. Tasted so dry and so old. Service was also bad as no one bothered to ask how the food was. Horrible experience
Quiet disappointed. Stopped in for lunch after a visit to the jetty. Service was slow, kids weren’t asked if they wanted colouring in. Rum tasted like there was 1/2 a nip couldn’t taste at all Kids cheeseburger tasted funky, like it was off. Nuggets were undercooked while all curly fries we over cooked and full of oil. The chicken & avocado with bearnaise sauce was great. Brown lettuce through my salad. Chicken Caesar wrap was quite tasty. I’d definitely walk up the road and get fish n chips. Save ya $$$$
One word! "FANTASTIC". Huge shout out to Hog's Breath Coffs Harbour specially to Will.. only spot open on a Sunday between 2:30pm an 5:30 pm. Will served with friendliness and respect. First drinks were served within the first 10 minutes, food came shortly after and was prepared to perfection compliments to the chef. Well done guys will see you again when passing by.

Very disappointing Father’s Day family dinner. Ridiculously long wait time with 3 hungry little boys. We had to continuously chase the waitstaff to get anything… No curly fries so we ordered mash only to be given chips & when we questioned that they said they ran out of potatoes. Staff obviously need further training. Floors & tables need a good clean too! For a good family meal I would recommend ANY of our local pubs before ever recommending this place.
