I cannot comment on the sales department however the rental department is incredibly flawed! I am a landlord and we were given the head of rentals to manager our Brighton property. First of all, he did not know the laws when it came to landlords rights. Secondly, he had complete disregard for landlord confidentiality and would pass on emails to the tenant. He also would rarely pick up his phone or return phone calls. When things got stressful, he would take “stress leave days” and hand ball issues to his team to sort out. We will NEVER use Hodges again for our rental properties! The rental department bring the company down and really needs a complete overhaul! Not one apology for the stress and inconvenience that Hodges have put us through. Plenty of other great property managers in other realestate companies in Brighton - avoid Hodges!!! EDIT: Spoke to one of their directors (Julien) who fobbed us off and took no responsibility. I told him that he has a number of bad reviews and he didn’t seem to care. He also bagged out the sales person we used to sell our property who is Hodges’ competitor (so professional - NOT). What a way to run a business! It’s people like Julien who bring realestate agents down - completely arrogant and lack professionalism.

I would strongly advise against listing a rental property with Hodges Brighton. I have had four changes of property manager in six months. I’ve never been advised of the change - only when I have called or emailed have I then learnt. Extremely unprofessional. I have no idea how my tenants’ end of lease handover will be managed today.

This must be the worst experience I've ever had. I worked at this company for 3 months, and I was the 7th property manager to manage the portfolio. One day without any hint that anything was wrong, I was fired. I was told the reason that I was being fired was because I am a single mother and that this position was not suitable for a single mother. Furthermore, there was no final payment or communication, even though multiple emails have been sent to the director of this branch. To say that i feel discriminated against is an understatement. I have written this review in the hope that future prospective property managers will do their homework before applying for any position with this company.

Highly recommend Campbell for selling your property. Campbell really is capable of achieving a sale in as little time as possible. I cannot recommend him enough! Hodges is also highly renowned in Brighton for excellence in customer service and overall customer satisfaction.
