I think this is the beat chocolate eclair I have ever had. The three ladies I was with also enjoyed their lemon meringue tart, caramel donut and apple turnover Every thing was very fresh and just beautiful I Highly recommend the Bake House at Eumundi
Delicious whole Apple Strudel . Basically a Takeaway Café , but there is seating & tables on the footpath. Can definitely recommend a visit.
If I could give this place no stars, I would. The food was probably the worst bakery food I’ve ever had. Had a sausage roll, and it was so bland it just tasted like flour, and there was minimal meat inside. My partner had a veggie pastie and that was also awful. I had a brioche bun bee-sting, it was definitely not a brioche bun, it was dry, over cooked and the custard was tasteless. My partner had a carrot cake that was as hard as a rock, and super dry. Will absolutely never be returning. The only positive thing to say about this place, is that the staff were very lovely.
Great little town in the Main Street is this wonderful bakery with the BEST PIES ever. The pastry was soft and flaky I had the beef curry it was delicious just the right heat. Johns pepper steak pie was the same. Served at just the right temp and well filled and meaty. The passion fruit cheese cake slice was perfect to go halves in it was light tasty and not to sweet. The girls serving were friendly and helpful. We have to say it’s well worth the detour of the Bruce hwy if your up this way
I've been here on two occasions, the first time, the service from the older lady was terrible, bread was beautiful though. Thought maybe she's just having a bad day. Tried again the second time, she's still having a bad day. Sausage rolls were burnt and Pie was very average. I hate leaving bad reviews especially for small businesses but, I think if they had someone on the counter that wanted to be there maybe the food would be better too. Will be trying the other local bakery's from now on........
Best sausage rolls, lovely coffee and such friendly staff. The cabinet is filled with delicious pastries and cakes! Highly recommend. Thanks.
Anybody giving less than 5stars must be a robot. These pies were to die for, best Ive had. I'm a tradie, had my fair share. Definitely stopping in again on the way home from Hervey bay
This place is weird..... Amazing pastry but when It come to the customer service ..almost non exsistant. They wernt very welcoming, very rude and short and what felt like judgemental ...COULD NOT wait to get out of the store. Lucky the pastries are good
Some of the nicest pies and sausage rolls I’ve tried over my time, the pepper steak pie was full of kick and flavour and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone in the area of passing by
Took my kids here for a snack. Very busy with a lot of customers. Bought apple strudel and custard tart. Strudel good and tart was ok. Prices were ok. Forgot to take a photo before the kids demolished theirs hence only half a strudel left. :
