It's a nice place to spend your afternoons. You can come here with your friends and family or by yourself.. you will have a nice time..
Beautiful park at Marrickvile, by the Cook's River. Attached to a field for Rugby and AFL, it has been redesigned and upgraded by Marrickville council. It had a wall that was used for practising tennis and was a legal wall for our amazing graffiti artists.nIt now boasts, not one, but three new walls where it's legal to do and show off your art! It also has new BBQ facilities under shade and a skate park. Living the new facilities, especially the walls. There should be more walls for our street artists! Enjoy and respect this park, where it is also now a park where you can take your dog off leash, during certain hours, as long as there are no Sports on.
There is lots of trees and a nice big field for kicking the ball around. There is lots of unleashed dogs running around too hence may not be suitable for young kids that is afraid of big dogs.
Lovely little area, great for picnics, with trees circling the play field. It's is a pity I only saw one BBQ area.nnOff-leash area for all your friendly doggos.nnI went with a few friends for my first catch up since lockdown lifted to do some shibari Japanese performance art.nnPerfect weather: lovely breeze on the day, not hot, not cold.nnAnother date has already been set and I'm looking forward to it!
