Nice little place to visit. We had the scones and coffee deal which was quite worth the price. It seems pretty popular with tourists/locals. Some maintenance required all round, and as a suggestion, in tune with the environment a better selection of music is suggested..
Such a pleasant place to visit, especially for young families. There are animals and wildlife to see which is great. A small lake and running river water which gives a great feel to being in the country. The food however might need some work. The Millers breakfast was pretty ordinary to say the least. Definately not worth the price.
We had such fun here today! Our 2 kids 7,11 loved it! Coffee, cake and scones was a hit with everyone! Such beautiful scenery, a great day out for families
Chanced upon this when we were looking for a rest stop. There's a small playground and some animals... you can get free turtle or alpaca feed from the super friendly staff at the counter. There's a small museum. They are also big on supporting local and no outside food. Coffee was okay. Milk was oversteamed, it was way too hot. Beans were overextracted and tasted very burnt. Limited options on the menu. Saw a number of people having scones and chips. The loaded fries didn't look loaded enough. Bacon on it didn't look crispy. So we went for the normal chips. It was a large bowl for 9.50. Wish the menu was a little bigger. It's a nice place to hang if you're tired from all the wine tasting.
I absolutely loved brunch at the Historic Rivermill today. Fantastic venue, friendly staff, and wonderful food! What more could you want? Well how about a river full of turtles waiting to be fed, pony rides for the kids, alpacas and a historic museum? I had the Apple and Rhubarb Stuffed Chocolate French Toast who could resist that? and my companions had Eggs Your Way with a side of hash browns 3 of them! and the Nathanshire Tea. All in all a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back soon to try the lunch menu!
A great little place to visit with the kids, all sorts of animals you can feed, you can eat a meal or just a piece of cake with a coffee. The only complaint with the meals was the Hollandaise, it tasted more like melted butter and flour, otherwise very nice and great coffee.Food: 3/5
Nice place, turtles, Lamas and deer to feed in a picturesque spot by the creek. Had tea with scones, blackberry compote, lemon curd and cream. Blackberry jam would have been better.Food: 3/5
Great atmosphere alfresco dining out back deck overlooking stream full of Turtles. We could see the kids having lots of fun hand feeding them. Other animals to keep them entertained, are Llamas, chooks & an extremely large Pig . Good selection of drinks licensed& a good Coffee & Cake deal for $10. Seniors meals were good value at around $12, with the fish & chips a good choice. I had the smoked salmon damperfrom the main menuat $21 , which I found a bit dissapointing . Small salad with some smoked Salmon & a small piece of Damper.If you're not hungry, this could be a good meal for you ! Scones a little disappointing.
I had egg Benedict with salmon, it wasn’t really good but acceptable. The area and the coffee shop were beautiful and u can get lots of photos there. Staff were friendly
OMG very nice place If you have children come here, very good, there are animals such as turtles, deer. recommended to come as a family
