Met friends for lunch. Great location, prices were good, staff were pleasant, food was not hot when it was served. I had a chicken schnitzel and it was warm, at best. Tasted like it had been pre cooked and kept in a hot box. A little underwhelming. Apart from that, it was a nice visit.Service: 4/5
We came here for dinner last night as we were staying at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were exceptionally friendly especially the young man behind the bar and the food was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a decent meal at a good price.
We had Christmas lunch here yesterday it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. The variety of food was wonderful and so fresh and cooked to perfection. Thank you so much. Totally recommend
Just wanted to commend Daniella for her amazing service to our particularly large party with an equally large, detailed order. Everything came out perfectly at the same time, with absolutely no errors. She took our order and managed it was no fuss and a smile. Thank you for such an excellent experience!
What a fabulous Christmas buffet!!!! Great seafood selection plus loads of other wonderful dishes...too many to name and desserts were out of this world. Super friendly staff........service was excellent. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Thank you for making our Christmas day so easy.
This place is amazing, highly recommended. Going above and beyond does not adequately describe the level of service the incredible staff are providing me every time I visit. I have a vision impairment and recently attended the Hinterland Hotel. From the first time I walked in each and every staff member did everything they could to assist me and make me feel welcome. I would like to give particular and special mention to the Duty Manager Sophie as well as all of her staff for making me feel so welcome, accepted and part of the local community. Another staff member who deserves to be commended for always being there to help with whatever I need is Jameson. There's even more staff I would love to mention here and I'll get their names too. Just want to express a huge Thank You to all the staff. I can't wait to be back at the Hinterland Hotel.
Went for lunch yesterday, against my better judgement. Waited 40 minutes for a steak sandwich and chicken burger. At 40 minutes i questioned staff as to the whereabouts of our lunch, and it arrived straight away. Apologies were given and a drink offered. I did point out that other people had entered the pub after us, had eaten and were about to leave. Staff were great, however the food was cold. Chips looked soggy and were barely warm. We opted for a refund and went to our trusted club 3 minutes down the road for hot food. The one star goes to the barperson who looked after me. She was amazing.
We had lunch here, service was very nice and polite, food was pretty good, entre was a little disappointing for the price but otherwise a pretty pleasant experience. Y'all do have some small leaks in your roof by the booths too, thought I'd mention it here in case :
Hinterland hotel has amazing and such friendly staff but as we took our seats there was left over food crumbs scattered around our whole table and the food took around 30 minutes each time. We both order a Medium rare and Medium well steak and they both came out rare
Food was alright not the best from a pub, we didn't finish our meals. The garlic bread was not good, I'd not order again if I went back. Will try again one day to see if quality is better.
