Very nice bbq near the train station. Have not been on this side before, but it was worth driving a little further away from the glen. Staff are very friendly and cook the meat for you. They have a unique way of cooking by cooking it vertically and inside the grill instead of on top. They don't need the exhaust up top like other Korean bbq because of this. You should book since it is small.
The food and atmosphere are great!nnWe ordered the set dinner and it includes a wagyu oyster blade and its so delicious. A unique way of bbq they put the meat vertically in between two vertical charcoal. Meat is evenly heated and presented.nnWaiters are polite but a rush. Understood as its quite busy at the time of dinner. They still serve us politely with a smile so they got the stars.nnThe location is good, a public car park is just across the road. You can also take a train to here also just across the road.
This is our go to KBBQ in the SE suburb.nIt is expensive compared to others in the Glen area. However, I don’t mind paying more not too much more than others because of the quality of their meat.nnCooking the meat using charcoal is way better.nnI prefer them cooking it as well so that everyone will enjoy the food.nnThe place is a bit tight especially when servers are walking around and if you are going to the toilet. I love the dim ambiance really depends on your preference but it works for me coz it feels intimate.
You will be so shocked that how much they charged. It's super expensive with 900 bucks for a BBQ set, and all the dishes are twice more expensive than any other Korean places we have been to. The food is absolutely awful. You could seriously never get soggy fried chicken in any Korean place, but this place has opened my eyes. All the food here is one taste- sweet! No spicy flavour, no salty flavour. Everything is sweet! If you have that much money, you can go to a super nice fine dining place. The service is awful too. They treat us like we are stupid kids knowing nothing. I hate all those waitors and waitresses, not even Korean , nor even understand English. We will never go back again anymore. I hope you read this review and make a wise choice. This is a restaurant that will only make you feel ripped off.
Overpriced, 350 bucks for 2 person. Overall taste so so.
