Nice place to enjoy a game of golf on your own or with family and friends
Played yesterday 21st and found the course to be in the best condition I have seen it in a long time. Well contoured, rough at the right level bunkers need a little send maybe and greens in good condition considering no rain for a week or two. 9 out of 10. Well done Hilltop
The course has always been interesting but they’ve let it go. Fairways are so awful I lost 2 balls following dead centre drives and the rough is simply unkept grass that hasn’t been cut for months. Compare to other mytimes like Pype Hayes it’s miles behind.
This is one of the better MyTime courses. For the time of year the course is holding up quite well. No temporary greens but sadly virtually every hole is tee off from temporary tee boxes. Their tee boxes are really horrible! Should get a reduction in green fee for that. That said don't let that put you off. It's an enjoyable course worth playing.
Played this course 7 years ago when it was owned by the council. Thought we'd give it ago as it's now owned by mytime active. Nothing has changed, drainage is still terrible, greens are patchy and brown and fairways are like the 1st cut.
Course has gone massively downhill in recent years. Greens were very inconsistent and fairways were so rough-like that straight drives were potentially lost balls! Such a shame given the potential of the course. Even two members I passed on course were embarrassed about the condition and went so far as to apologise. Not currently worth the £19 price tag
It's a really interesting course and challenging to high andycap players like my self .as an high handycap player spent a lot of time looking for the ball amongst the leaves as there are lots of trees which was the only down side but would play there again
It could be a lovely course if a bit of extra care had been taken to tidy it up and cut the grass and greens. Very interesting configuration on the layout. Unfotunately no hot drinks available. Only greenfees are mytime. The rest is owned privately. Iam a 16 handicaper.
Interesting course with some challenging holes. Reasonable condition, but the bunkers could usually do with some sand in them. Generally quite quiet except Thursdays which is cheap day
Entrance is misleading. It's not a golf course anymore.
