Nice new metro station between Castle Hill and Norwest stations. The station is big and clean with few people. The railway serves trains bound for Chatswood and Tallawong.nnThey have escalators and lifts so even senior citizen will have an easy time using the facilities. We felt safe using walking around the station.
Despite the massive reduction in area due to the Showground Metro Station, the fact that the Showground is still fully operational is a wonderful outcome, particularly for residents and visitors.nI love the fact that for two decades and more, I and others have been able to attend the Castle Hill Farmers Market...
The station itself and services are great but the poorly planned carpark should have at least 50% more capacity to cater for the amount of commuters especially when on any given work day the carpark is full by 7.10am. How is this encouraging the locals commuters to use public transport or even future proofing for increased population density in the years to come? I've logged 2 complaints and the standard response is to look for street parking which is narrow in the surrounding area and will soon end up with accidents or try another station. Poor planning.
Hills Showground is a top Metro location and my favourite. Really good carpark and the place is clean and wonderful.nnLove it!
Very nice and clean station along Showground Rd. If you park at P2, you can come out from the parking lot and head towards the train station without having to take the lift or stairway.
