Pretty fancy IGA, lots of diversity in their product there’s a florist and cafe within the centre too. Everything is well presented, clean store and the service is quick and friendly.
Always a lovely shopping experience. Fresh produce is amazing and a good selection of Tasmanian and international foods. Staff are incredibly helpful.
Just wow!nI spoke to Sidney and the team at hillstreet about flower for my sister 30th birthday i sent photo through and discuss the plan of what flowers we can use to get the vibrant pinks, oranges and purples.nSidney suggest a few dried flower also to bring it all together.nI picked them up yesterday and was blown away they were everything I wanted and more! We had so many people asking who did them and how beautiful they were..nThey were definitely a show stopper.nThank you so much to Sidney and the team for making my sister birthday amazing and hitting the brief
An extraordinary grocery experience.nnI have been here several times before finally making a review. I just love Hill Street Grocer in Devonport, so much so that I even emailed them requesting that they open one in Ulverstone where I live!nnInstantly walking in and being greeted by magnificent flowers sold in singles and in beautiful bouquets coupled with upmarket homewares like the adorable hug mugs and serving ware sets the scene. Then the cafe with chocolates, ready to go sandwiches, and the display of cookies on the counter, the buzz of coffee in the air just adds an extra flair.nnThe grocery side of the store is robust too, it’s like the IGA refused to be ordinary and went straight to extraordinary. They feature a lot of Tasmanian focused value added products and produce. There’s a huge selection of local produce and the most tender salad leaves I’ve had from Thirlstane Gardens. They have a whole selection of pre made cakes and savoury foods as well. We love the vegetarian lasagne, it is outstanding!nnThe best thing is that it’s a fully functional IGA too, so I can pick up regular things as well. It’s the best of all the worlds — the florist, the cafe, the bakery, the local high end deli, the lifestyle shop, and the reasonably priced IGA.nnI can’t say enough about Hill Street Grocer. I feel like every IGA should take note on how to really create an incredible experience and follow suit, we’d all be better off for it.nnNow if only they delivered to my area, I would happily choose them over Woolies. Until then every time I go to Devonport I’ll make a point to stop in.
Love shopping here so much. All the staff are incredible, and the products and lines available really pack a punch. Bonus - they just started stocking Vegan Dairy cheese. Please keep this brand forever! The mozzarella is so good!
