Their signature  vegetarian salad was a multitude of delicious taste and textures Fabulous views from outside tables.

A casual dining location with very, very good wholesome food and mighty fine coffee.  But what sets this cafe apart is the service.  From the moment you walk through the door you are treated as part of the family.  Genuine people serving genuine food.  I love this place and will visit whenever I get the chance to be on the Kapiti Coast.

Best cheese scones in lower north island.  Some have been so gloggy, hard, tasteless but High Tides scones are great.  Honestly with the cost of butter and cheese in NZ people should stop being negative and enjoy!  If you don't like the price then go away.

Went for brunch the pancakes were good, but waited half an hour for tiny expensive apple juice! And the fries were okay but for the love of all people please stop with the Aioli!!!! Please i beg it was the worst thing there.

Came for early lunch and 2 hours later was still waiting. They only seemed to be able to cook one tables food at a time. Once one table was fed the next was about 35 min later. Cooked fresh but no ability to cope if busy

With family we Had lovely pancakes, large cheese scones and coffee at high tide. Service great as usual and so friendly. Cheers Merylle

This has become our regular cafe. The staff are friendly, excellent service, and excellent food and coffee. And a view of Kapiti island on a nice day - no wonder we keep returning

The saving grace for this place was that the staff were lovely. After waiting 45 minutes, having watched others leave due to long wait time the food was average and expensive. No intention of going back.

Very friendly staff and surroundings. Pankcakes like my mother used to make complete with lemon and gritty  sugar  when lemons are available. Great coffee.

Great food. Fantastic atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff.
