A good fuss-free place to eat with extensive Chinese and Japanese menus. The food is reasonably priced, tasty, authentic, fresh and comes out fast. The place itself feels a little run down but it's not terribly dirty. There are robots that bring the food out and the kids find that really entertaining.
Are regular customers of this place visiting 4-5 times a week for sushi. There is one particular staff member who is very rude and will not fill my container of satay sauce to the brim at all even when requested on multiple occasions she has rudely refused. This does not help my client as they suffer from anxiety and these rejections only heighten this as this is their meal they look forward to each day. We will now be avoiding this place if she is working and she needs to be removed from the front counter and relegated to dish pig as that is all she should be.
It was quiet which was nice but the staff were so rude and cruel! I just wanted some chopsticks and they rolled their eyes at me like I was asking for too much. The woman behind the counter made the sushi very slowly, my fried rice was done faster then her making the rolls. One of the employees didn't have her hair tied up, so I suspect the hair on the sushi bench was from her. Unsanitary and rude. Awful experience

My wife and I enjoy taking our grand children here because it's food we all enjoy. The food is fresh and delicious. Robert and Roberta, the robot serving staff are a hit with the grandkids. Parking: Hi Sushi is situated inside Gateway Plaza shopping centre which has ample parking.
Food had clearly been sitting out all day, dumplings were hard and difficult to bite through, sushi was soggy and 95% rice with only the filling on the top of the dumpling to show. Will stick to going to the other shop in Leopold Plaza. Once and only visit.
Staff was incredibly rude and stared at me like I was garbage. I heard the lady making sushi scoff at me twice I was the only one there. The floor was dirty with literal dirt and the windows had huge smudge marks on them. The fish looked bland and colorless.Food: 2/5
Terrible service and very disappointing food. Ordered karaage ramen and turned out to be the worst I ever had! The fried chicken is not even remotely close to karaage style fried chicken. And the service is appalling - clearly ignoring our group because we are “Asians” and cannot even get a glass of water for our table. First and last time here!!!
ordered the SU19 house special platter based on the photgraph showning how many pieces of the 36 were sashimi. What we received was a platter that had 36 pieces but less sashimi 40% less substituted by sushi . i sent them 4 emails giving them the right of reply, no response. Also the tuna was tasted washed out and was toughish. having said that the large sushi rolls were good
They didn't have many options for sushi, and once I finally got my sushi, it was low quality and chewy I started choking on the seaweed, I'm definitely going back here again Food: 1/5
