Booked the day before and arrived only to find doors locked and no key. Pouring rain and cold we stood outside. Unhelpful call button only went to answering service who informed us they could not do anything and the night manager would be 2 hours away. We then got an email from hi-surf confirming we had cancelled as we wanted a smoking room. Strange as neither of us smoke and did not contact. Got an email next day from them again passing blame onto us. Exceptionally poor service. Do not stay here. They should get a zero rating. As of this post it is still unresolved...

Hey Google, it's 150 *THE* Esplanade, not 150 Esplanade. And Provide feedback and Suggest an edit don't work with Google Chrome 49, the last XP version, so I'm putting it here. Delete after fixing address line field.

Great apartments, Fantastic reception staff great pools and facilities. Opposite beach. Couldn't ask for a more perfect location.

Our team attended the gold coast for an annual real estate conference, and stayed again at the high surf. We had an issue where we dumped our bags in our room and then went out for a team dinner. When we returned to our room we noticed that the cleaner missed a number of things. We called the front desk at 11pm and we were quickly upgraded to a better room 5 floors up with ocean views. The next night we accidentally looked ourselves out at 1:30am and were too embarrassed to notify reception, somehow Judith must have heard us talking about it in the downstairs lobby and quickly came to our aide. Lets face it sometimes in our businesses things get missed or go wrong. Judith responded at the highest level, even wrote us too hand written notes apologizing and leaving a gift at our door. I highly recommend Judith and her team she is amazing and really brightened our time, each and every time we have stayed there.

great stay, plenty room in the two bedroom apartment for our family of 4. excellent sea view, facilities ood and close to everything.
