NICE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER HERE WITH A WAITING ROOM BUT A REALLY GOOD CAFE NEXT DOOR IS MY CHOICE OF PLACE TO WAIT.
Me family and I , We took the ferry to heron island, the sea was rough and 20 knots wind strong , white caps and wave of 2mt, the staff on the ferry was very nice and they looked after me wife when she felt sea sick. The reception of the terminal was also very nice and the cafe on the side serves good food and coffees. Thank you
Terrible unprofessional service. Our trip was cancelled multiple times without warning. Having travelled from interstate at great expense for flights and island accommodation, there was no apology or any form of assistance or contingency. Avoid this service, far better off going to Agnes’s Waters for your reef experience.
The terminal contains the local visitor centre which is very goodnPlenty of useful information about the city and surrounding areas
The terminal is easy to get around, and staff are very friendly. Just bring some strong bug spray for the midges
