Best place in town to have dinner. Better than any pub/tavern nearby. Safe place for people with disabilities and families too. They have a great menu and also specials everyday. I recommend the cheeseburger or the fish and chips as seen on my photo. I do bring customers here once or twice every week and they always receive us with a smile. Great and friendly service at the bar too. I recommend this place 100%.
Not bad for a local pub but nothing fancy either. Pretty good deals in a relaxed environment. I ordered cheeseburger the other night but got served the veggie burger instead. They had the tennis on, which was good, but then antique road show came on and we asked them to switch it back, which they did. Good for an easy feed, relaxed service and nice carpet
Great pub. Nice food. Friendly helpful staff. 2 pool tables. $8 pints of 150 lashes beer. Huge $19 meals with a pint of beer. The parmi meal pictured. Also beautiful chicken pie meal for $18 pictured. Happy hour Mon to Fri from 5 till 6 and Bulmers cider comes down from $12.20 to $7 for Happy Hour. They also have a drive through bottleshop and a TAB. Restaurant on one side and public bar on the other side. Will be back.
$42 for a reef and beef and the smallest piece of beef I’ve ever seen came out. There was no sauce. The herdy burger was average- as in bacon barely cooked but a bigger serve than the reef and beef. The “wait to be seated” sign is pointless, no one comes so you end up seating yourself. Good points - the wait staff and bar staff are great and the calamari was really good. *We didn’t have to pay for the reef and beef
The Herdsman Lake Tavern is a place I visit regularly. The Manager Samantha and her team always ensure our experience is amazing. The food is great and table service is always very quick. I highly recommend the Mediterranean stack…absolutely delicious.
Had a lovely night at the Herdsman Tavern For my beautiful granddaughter Shaneece's birthday Even though I left the cake at home. But the tavern came through with 3 slices of mud cake beautiful decorated on a plate with candles and a sparkler. Thank you
A really good reliable place to eat. Good service, can be quite busy at lunch time. One of the rare places to get the mouch sort after Cristmas plum pudding with proper custard, cream ice cream and a strawberry

The service excellent and good pub food. We had an issue with our order and it was dealt with promptly, I mean my sister witnesses the manager go straight into the kitchen and talk to his team. We got an unasked for discount. I was and my family impressed!
This WA venue is interesting as it. has recent history; I recall it was all the rage with the young men of previous decades, maybe even as far back as the 70s. Today I attended a private, by-invitation institutional festive lunch there. In this era this is a perfect place for such an event; the staff charming, with guests’ requests smilingly attended to, plenty of parking, the venue picture perfect. Recommend if you seek a well-appointed, spacious venue for such an event.
