Veg definitely cheaper than all the supermarket. Fruit about the same price. The deli n meat is so much better. Freshly slice ham n definitely cheaper meat. Always look amazing.
Henry Mercato Waverley GardensnVisit update on 25/6/2022nnAfter my initial review, I decide to check out this store to see that its standard is maintained. With vegetables prices soaring, and shortage of some due to damaged by heavy rain, I expect this store will have many empty spots where vegetables are displayed. To my surprise, I can see a sea of colourful display of vegetables and fruits outside the store. There are also chest freezers holding several brands and variety of frozen durians and other frozen items.nnInside the store, everything is so neatly displayed and labelled. The flowers at the of the store are still arranged so beautifully.nnPrices of vegetables and eggs really hit the roof, but by comparuson they are cheaper than many other green groceries.nnThe store is a credit to the owners, managers and staff. Keep up the good work.n_________________nnVisited 1/4/2022nnHenry Mercato is the latest supermarket in Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre, next to The Reject Shop.nnIt occupies part of the floor space of the former Target store.nnIt is very bright and huge wheelchair friendly store. It has very wide aisles.nnThere are so many variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and meats and dried groceries, spices, sauces, snacks, continental small goods, etc.nnI don't smell roast Chicken though.nnThis supermarket is going to give Woolworths, Aldi, the Chinese grocer and the butcher a really tough time.nnIn any business, complacence is the biggest enemy. It is important to keep the ears to the ground all the time, to check out who is coming to town and takes measure to protect one's market share.nnDisclaimer. Give this place a chance and visit to buy your groceries, they have fresh veggies and fruit. You can get all packed and fresh food items at much lower price than other stores. They also have wide range of cheese and meat.
Bad customer service. I came with the trolley of groceries to claim the money from item on the bill that I didn’t buy, the cashier did the checkout checked through items in the trolley, after that she said something with the 2nd cashier then the 2nd cashier check my trolley again, messing the items. I asked why she check again as the 1st checked already, she seems wasn’t happy and blamed that not her fault. Get refund money for that item but didn’t receive any sorry from them.
