Decent fish and chips. Didn’t wait long for food on a Sunday lunch. But fish was quite small compared to other shops? Got jumbo size chips pic.Calamari taste great and was the best out of everything.
No frills, Simply good fish and chips if you’re planning just to hang out at the beach and swim all day. Staff can be a hit and miss though.
Great tasting fish and chips and a good portion size of the chips. However the wait is far too long, I waited 45 minutes for a small salad which required no preparation and saw it happen to other customers. It would have been longer if I didnt go to the counter and ask for it. My friends who were eating at a nearby sit down restaurant had finished and paid for their meal after getting to Henley around the same time as me. I understand it was a busy day on a public holiday but I've waited 20 minutes to half an hour for fish and chips on normal days when there isn't a rush. Overall would still recommend the place if you have the time but I hope management are able to implement a more efficient system with staff so the wait is not unnecessarily longer than it should be.
There is nothing worse than watching someone touch the till, put their finger in their ear and then touch your food with no gloves on while making it. Hand hygiene?? A smile would be lovely to. Apart from that food is absolutely excellent.Food: 5/5
I have been reading through reviews here and am at a loss as to why many are harsh. I have purchased here on probably 7 or 8 occasions and not once have we been disappointed - I do refer to their Yiros and chips and actually think they are far better than the other Greek provider across the road. Am I Lucky? I must be very lucky if that's the case - I'll go back in a heartbeat
Went on 2 April @ 4pm. Fish was soggy and not at all crisp. Lamb yiros wasn’t good with the meat tasting like it had been sitting in a fridge for a while. Saw someone else asking for refund soon after ordering. Will not return. I should add, I’ve been going here for many years and this is the worst quality I’ve had.
My wife and I were walking our dog on this Monday evening when we strolled past this takeaway shop, The menu caught our eye. OMG they have more than 2 or 3 but multiple vegetarian options !! My wife being vegetarian, and gluten intolerant. Tried the home made dolmathes, delishhhhh... the briami was tasty and filling, my wife really enjoyed it. But the stand out was the Kolokithi wrap!! Finger licking good.. The nice lady at the shop suggested.. good recommendation.. will definitely be back..

Don’t go here! Overpriced, bad staff, $12 for a “large” salad with about 3 Ingredients in it. Dry and bland. Rude staff, bad wait times for a simple large overpriced oily chips
Looked at the reviews first but lucky i didn't believe them food was delicious and the taramasalata was as good as it is next door at estia salad & fish were yummy
