Breakfast was great. Ordered the Big breakfast got the egg and bacon omitted because I am a vegetarian Donut French toast and Death by chocolate house special. Tasty, great portion sizes, quick and nice customer service. Kids activity sheet with crayons was a good distraction. Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options and certain amends can be made to the existing menu items which have meat. Kid-friendliness: Kids activity sheet with crayons is a great distraction whilst they wait for their food.
Absolutely loved this cafe! Loved the openness of the interior, the service, and the menu variety. I ordered the chilli shakshuka and Hendriks has delivered the best one yet much spicier than other cafes, but that was perfrctly fine for me since I like spice. Definitely recommend this place for a nice and chill brunchin'!
Got off the Tassie Ferry in Geelong and drove to Hendriks with my fishing mates because we needed a good breakfast on the way home. We ordered differently but everyone agreed the food was excellent. My Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon were cooked perfectly with the soft yolk dribbling over the generous serve of salmon and spinach. Friendly and fast service - thanks folks.
Great coffee, exceptional food, and the staff are friendly too. Huge promotions; good value for money. Kid friendly and plenty of room for street parking.
Great coffee and some delicious snacks! The croissants were pretty good, atmosphere was great and the cafe was quite busy a really good sign!. Brilliant location and the staff were very briefly. Would definitely recommend stopping off if driving down White Street.

Friendly and great service from the minute you step in the door. Went on a Saturday at 11 AM and was packed we managed to get a table for 2 and for a pram with a newborn in. The staff were polite and accommodating we took a while to order as we were talking but we were not rushed at all. Food was quick to come out and was well presented and delicious. Prices are great and very affordable. Parking there is 2 hour parking just down the side road
We have been coming here for years and it is one of the best cafes in Melbourne. It changed ownership a year or so ago which is always always a bit of a worry that it may not be as good but if anything everything has improved, the menu is great and always consistent and tasty , takeaway options and coffee etc best in bayside to , cheers
The level of satisfaction I am at after eating here. Astronomical. We've heard of chicken and waffles, but let me put you in something, duck and waffles. Fantasic balance of sweet and savoury. Duck cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior. Waffles delicious. The toppings, make it whole and delicious. When I say I cleaned the plate, I mean it. Also my partner is still talking about the ribs. Highly recommend this place and I can't wait to come back to try more. Also the flavour of the chai, immaculate. 6/5 Starr's in my book
I have been to Hendricks a few times, on this occasion it was just before closing time. The staff could have very easily said "the coffee machine is off" and I would of understood, but no they welcomed me warmly and told me to sit down even though all staff were tiding up. Great staff and attitude. The coffee was great as per usual. Thanks.
