I first took two of my grandchildren to the Helen Rice Tennis School in early 2020. I knew they needed better coaching than I was able to give. I wasn't wrong. Both boys improved out of sight after only 3 or 4 days of personal coaching. I then took them back in the recent Oct school holidays along with another 3 grandkids. Across all ages 7- 13 they were all fully engaged throughout each day's sessions. They all loved it. I was so impressed with the happy learning environment. All of the coaches were fabulous- managing to keep kids on track even when it rained! There's something special about this tennis school. The personal friendly attention each child received even in a group setting was exceptional. Well done Helen Rice - you've built a special gem in the suburbs! Thanks so much. Petra
My children love attending the holiday workshops. They say the coaches are excellent, lots of fun and I can see their tennis improves dramatically after the 4 mornings. Coaches are skillful, not just at tennis, but at engaging and motivating young people. Highly recommended. Very professionally run, always clear information provided and they're great with following up on queries. Well done Helen Rice Tennis!
Both my boys have been attending Helen Rice Tennis School since they were about 4 years old now 6 and 9 years. They both look forward to lessons each week and also enjoy the Grand Slam Holiday Clinics. They have both learnt a lot from the fantastic and dedicated coaches there. My older son now plays junior competition tennis and loves it.
Yesterday at Denman was the first time I have seen the Denman Orange ball program. To say the least I was amazed at the organisation and committment you demonstrated. It was a shock after coming to Denamn from another program to see the patient manner in which you coached and the skills and understanding of the mechanics of the game you taught the junior players and probably their parents.. It is very clear as to why your organisation has the loyal following it has. Full credit to your commitment and work in developing the junior levels. Regards, James Tomalin
Helen Rice Tennis School has coached my two children for the last 7 years. The expertise of the coaches is outstanding together with a very positive, fun and motivating approach with the children. I highly recommend Helen Rice Tennis School for adults and children alike considering tennis coaching.
My son loves the skill development, professionalism and friendship from Helen Rice, Stef and all coaches at Helen Rice Tennis School. His tennis has improved greatly and it’s his favourite activity. We love the school and the way our son has developed and cannot rate highly enough - beyond 5 stars!!!
Excellent service all around. From the prompt replys to any emails, to the great coaches who are so patient and kind to my 3yo!. All very friendly and helpful. My daughter absolutely loves going to her lessons each week. I did coaching through Helen Rice as a kid and it's so great that my kids are now doing this great experience
I recently joined the Helen Rice tennis school. The Trainers are very good and they are very knowledgeable about what they are doing.they are also extremely passionate about the sport and try to teach it in the best way. I had a couple of sessions with Helen herself, where she helped me so much improving my hits and definitely helped make my movement more efficient. At the moment I’m having lessons with Saskia who’s helping me play my best tennis. I do cardio tennis with Helen, Jaimes and Stef and they’re so great. The sessions are hard work and lots of fun, I laugh so much. I think the laughing is helping me improve my abs too!!
I took some private tennis lessons during the summer holidays. Stefan is a terrific coach - very friendly and helpful. I got to practice and improve all my tennis strokes and learnt a lot of handy techniques and strategies, even as a beginner player. Would definitely recommend for tennis lessons.
