We booked a table for 6 and had the most enjoyable night out. The food was excellent and the service was above standard. Our waitress Maddison was outstanding and will return to this restaurant again. Could not recommend enough Vegetarian options: Available for people we were meat eaters Kid-friendliness: I saw many couples with children adding to the family feel Dietary restrictions: All the options were available
We absolutely enjoyed our evening!! Food was amazing and staff were wonderful. VERY accommodating for food intolerances and for us bringing in an Anniversary cake. The range of German Beers on tap is great as is having Canadian Club Dry & Apple Cider on tap!
A great place to dine out if you like big plates of German food. All very delicious . This was my second visit to this establishment. Drink purchased and paid for separately. Meals can be paid for individually as well - so large groups are not a problem. Do the family and friends a favour take them out to the Heisenberg Haus you won't be disappointed.
Lovely staff, but we are so disappointed with the food, especially with Pork knuckle and sausages. It should be the best dishes in the restaurant but it's very very bad. The Entré was lovely, dipping sauce is delicious. Main course, we ordered Salmon which is overcooked. Pork knuckle is so dry and cold and side dish must have been sitting in the oven all day or was from the previous day. Sausages are dry and very small considering they are supposed to be German sausages. Honestly, I think they just keep the costs low because the quality of ingredients. It's sad that I can't give a good review for this restaurant.
Pork knuckle was greatThis is really big.so It would be difficult to eat one alone.we shared this. and then we each ordered the main menu. Chicken schnitzel was great. The staff were all friendly.
Service was a little slow due to a large birthday party but staff was very friendly and helpful. Good selection of beers on tap and In bottles. We had wurst sampler appetizer that came with sauerkraut and had the cheesy garlic bread with it and it was perfect for four hungry people. Very tasty also! My chicken schnitzel plate was delicious and had a huge piece of chicken fried to perfection. The German potato salad and side salad went perfectly with it! The Heisenberg House did not disappoint and we will be dining there again in the future! To reserve a table, you must go to their website and you can also pre order there as well to save on waiting time in the restaurant. Whatever the wait, it’s worth it!
It's already many years past I still can't forget about their discrimination. They think no table for Asian. There were many available table from we started eating to finish. They gave us a little temporary table just enough for drink. So embarrassing and everytime someone post about you, I feel so disgusted.
Were booked out indoors. Arrived. Shown to table out the back. Had a drink and our starter turned up... then the manager I assume came out and asked if we'd like a table inside, as one was now available. Joy of joys! It was a tad warm outside, so was ecstatic to go in. Appreciated her moving us! Went on to enjoy the wurst taster, my fave was cheese kransky sweet potato fries, with plenty of aioli, and kassler with mash, and sauerkraut- but with no room for dessert I really enjoyed my sunsetter ginger beer, and he enjoyed his Rothaus beer.
What a beautiful restaurant with friendly happy staff. The restaurant was reasonably full and the service was still pretty good. We had the pork knuckle for dinner and the portion was huge for me. They wrapped up what we couldn't eat to take home. Prices were good. We will definitely return again in the future.
I had seen the restaurant a year or two ago and wanted to give it a try, We made the 45 minute drive in a last minute booking. It was well worth the trip both food and service was great. The pork knuckle was massive and as good as I have eaten else where, the beer was cold and the schintzle on point. My partner decided that the sticky date pudding was about the best she had ever eaten. Lastly the decor and ambience was fantastic, all in all a great place to celebrate a special occasion and a great meal.
