Got the Grabone Peking duck for 2 for $46. Amazing deal, there was ALOT of duck for 2 people. Good tasting very meaty duck. The beansprout dish has a lot of Wok Hay and not too much MSG. The corn soup was very basic, so we chose not to drink it. Overall, pretty good meal. Toilet is a bit old and dirty and probably should get that refurbished.
Terrible experience. Food is okay…. If you actually manage to get it. Booked a dinner for Peking duck here - SPECIFICALLY for Peking duck, confirmed over the phone and all prior. We arrive, waited for an hour, and followed up on our duck only to be told they had ran out …. They had known this for awhile and had not even informed us. No refund offered, no apology offered. Smug as attitude from waiter. The worst customer service I’ve experienced - dine here at your own risk. Oh and eggshells in my NOT Peking duck dish
Great tasting food here, theres something for everyone. This time round they we're much faster in service and everything was on point. Just have to try the prawn dumplings.
One of THE go to places for Yum Cha in Auckland! Authentic, prices are generally reasonable ranging from $20 to $30 per pax and quality of food has always been consistent. Lost of star would be due to overall servicewait times for tables/food and frustration to find parking with seating being quite cramped. Delicious and amazing. They were nice enough to accept a grab one voucher that expired in the lockdown. Super awesome service. Even changed the dish to accommodate my vegetarian son!
Good peking duck. Was quiet when we went so service was quick. Left full good value.
Food took very long to arrive, was not enough variety and quality was average apart from the prawn cakes . Crispy Squid thick and chewy,rice paper rolls and prawn dumpling covers were too thick and overcooked . communication with staff was hard . I will not to return.
Had to wait a long time for our entrée, then one turned up waited waited had to go looking for someone to ask where my partners was. We where one of three tables one table which arrived after us had 6 people had food arriving none stop. We didn't enjoy or finish our entrees I canceled my main course and we left before my partners main course arrived. I first went there 30 year's ago will never go back. Bad everything.
One of the Best Asian restaurants in Auckland!!
Food taste super good! Can taste the freshness from every dishes! The workers there are very friendly too, they will provide recommendations when you ask. It's the first and might be one of the best Chinese restaurant in Auckland. Not too busy during lunch hour :
