I went to healesville for the weekend and brought 5 pairs of shoes with me. They were in terrible condition. Peter told me he'd need them for at least a week. I told him I was in healesville for the weekend. Peter said he'd post them to me. Not only have I received the shoes within the correct return date, but he gave me a great price, paid for the postage and sent me a free pair of laces. The workmanship and service fantastic. I won't be using the overpriced/poor quality repair you get from the city 'mister mint' stores anymore. I'll send him my shoes from now on. Extremely happy with the service and appreciated the high standard to which he's repaired my much loved shoes. Thanks again Peter and Viv. I'll tell my network to start sending their shoes to healesville for repair! Regards Hannah aka. One very happy customer.

have had shoes repaired there but expensive and glue from bunnings did a better job.  Great place to get keys cut and supplies for shoes such as laces and polish.  little bit on the pricey side.

I have had my handbag repaired here, boots repaired, and keys cut there and bought mysrlf some pretty cute Birkenstocks,  and find their prices very reasonable. I have always been more than happy with the outstanding work and friendly service, and to be honest, I wonder how anyone can put in the time and effort to repair something for such little money! I suppose i see the value in repairing rather than throwing it away and buying a new $350 handbag! 

So im not sure why anyone would be upset with a repair being over priced when a quote is given first. Ive never been unhappy with a job done there so I have never personally had to take advantage of the workmanship gaurantee, but considering how friendly they are, I would have no hesitation in mentioning it to them if i was ever not satisfied. But there lies the problem with social media. Instead of getting an issue resolved like the good old days, its easier to complain online- which really benefits nobody!
