If I had known how draconian and punitive the SLP was at Heathridge, I would have chosen home schooling over allowing my autistic son to attend this school. Both the Principal and Deputy Principal as well as the SLP Coordinator lack empathy, compassion and are not neuro-affirmative in the slightest. My son has PTSD from the treatment he endured during his time at Heathridge SLP.
We have sent 3 of our children to this school, It was a great school for the first two, has gone down hill very quickly with the current heads of staff with a lack of leadership and control over bullying and troublesome students.
