Heathcote Country Kitchen

Fish and chips in this shop were average. I’d probably avoid fish and chips here next time. My fish was very dry. However this shop had a lot of other yummy foods on the menu, including Chinese. I will visit this shop again when next in Heathcote to try some of this other food.

I thought this place was over priced . I got a chicken suvalaki which was just ok. The tomarto was cut so fine i didnt think i tasted any The bread was smaller not as nice as most wasnt cooked properly and all i got was a mountain load of lettice . I should have walked out when you know the people type who try to cut corners to save a dollar . Im sick of it. Bring back the Greek fish shop

Great customer service but very poor amount of chips and the fish was very flat and dry no flavour what so ever the crab sticks look and taste very old nothing is fresh do not what so ever recommend

Fairly average souvalaki with not much meat.... which comes standard. What they will try to do is charge you an extra $5.50 for the meat that should be in there in the first place. Especially when asking $12 per souvalaki!Food: 1/5

Flake was so fresh, salads fresh crisp and lovely, everything so yummy...staff went out of their way to help us too...thank you!!!

On my 3rd and final night in Heathcote, I finally had a decent feed. After burnt and unfavourable food, I ordered a hamburger with the lot at HCK. It was stacked nicely, not messy. Taste was just as a burger should, not over the top or trying to be fancy. Just a burger. The service was as it should be. Well done and thank you

Very nice food at this local eatery. We have had the fish and chips experience, excellent! We have had the burger experience, excellent! We have been coming here for over a year and like every business, they can get really busy and wait times are out of control. Then there are times when you hardly wait for your meal. The staff have always been friendly and respectful to us, so we reciprocate the same. I love that you can get so much from one place. I would definitely recommend some sort of simple ticketing system to streamline that part of their business.Definitely recommend this local fast food kitchen to locals and travellers alike.

Today I Purchased a chicken souvlaki And informed the staff member - who spoke very little English , that I am highly allergic to peanuts And did not want any peanut in it. I discovered that she got the chicken from a Chicken SATAY stick and used that for the souvlaki I then proceeded to have a severe reaction to the satay and wen't to hospital emergency
