Quality record shop. This is easily the best in Melbourne. If you love your vinyl this is the place to go. Plus the owner is a massive Sisters Of Mercy fan so that makes him a top bloke in my eyes.
ONE OF THE FEW REMAINING VINYL RECORD SELLERS Hartland Records is a mecca for those who cherish vinyl music. It's a down to earth store with a big range of records. Located on Victoria Street just around the corner from Errol St. The tram runs past and even has a stop right in front of the store.
I regularly visit this store and find it to be consistently one of the best in Melbourne across all genres but particularly if you enjoy metal and alternative. There's also an interesting soundtrack selection. Prices are competitive. Very accessible by public transport or a short walk from the Vic Market. Highly recommended
Great local record shop. The store has a very good collection, friendly professional staff and good equipment for listening before buying. prices are also very low as compared to other record stores. Heartland Records is my favourite store in Melbourne!!!
Don't think I've ever bought so many records in one hit. Had some really rare newer records that I haven't seen anywhere else. They had all sorts of records, ranging from moderately priced to extremely cheap. Will definitely check this place out again!
Best record store in the north. Heaps of new and used with fair prices.
Fantastic record shop. The owner is very responsive to emails, and the prices are decent. For example I bought a RSD release for $15 cheaper than the other Aussie record shops that had it. Highly recommended.
New and used records and CDs. Well layed out with a great mix of genres, pricing was fairly good too. Used records from $1 upwards, as usual with used vinyl, you get what you pay for, so check your discs before purchasing. Having said that, I had no issues with my purchases, and some were cheap.
