THE MOST DISGUSTING TREATMENT IN MY LIFE. I wish I could give negative stars. NEVER in my life have I been treated the way I was in this store. Came in with my partner to get some bits and pieces before I head back to work, found the things I needed mainly for anxiety control and gut health. For some context of my purchases I am a Australian Army veteran diagnosed with PTSD, severe anxiety among other mental health challenges. Today my partner and myself came in after breakfast to get specific items to help manage these above issues while I am away at work. My partner left the store to use the toilet and I kept shopping. I placed my items of the counter about $400 worth. The owner Stephen Su called the shop questioning the lady behind the counter who began to have a discussion about ME and my partner while she was infront of me as I waited for her to put my items through. “ He is buying some items now but his partner left just before” at this point clearly discussing me I asked who was on the phone and to talk to them she handed me the phone and he hung up, I asked the woman who it was and she admitted it was the owner. The disgust and shock as to what was happening at this point hit me, my partner returned from the toilet and I was very upset By this, clearly this was based on appearance, I have tattoos a beard and am a larger build I told her this was clearly based on the above to which she said “oh definitely not” I said “does the owner call and question EVERYONE who comes into the store and then you have a discussion about them and their partner instead of serving them, I highly doubt that” To have someone watching the store through cameras, call the employee and both deem it acceptable to entertain this type of questioning or judgement of someone is absolutely disgraceful. I told her to take a look at what I was buying it was all very specific to be used to help with my anxiety and PTSD from my deployments to Afghanistan and time in the military, I showed her My DVA gold card as if I should have to justify this or prove this to anyone anyway. At this point my partner was in tears at this situation and I left with her as I couldn’t Beleive what had just happened, and my shock had turn to anger being treated this way by Stephen Su and his older female Dark haired employee at the karrinyup store. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL, You both should be ashamed of yourself.
They are selling some items at the lowest prices. But they hardly let you refund. Careful when you make purchase.
Really nice service and a great range of products. Recommended.
