my worst nightmare is continuing... this bloke happy to argue needlessly on behalf of my ex... happy to give advice which strings out the argument... has never looked like he even wants to settle in nearly two years of dealing with him. He has refused to even communicate nor negotiate with me for at least 18 months now prolonging the matter at his leisure. Avoid like the plague. His pathetuc comment below is a poor attempt at damage control. Unprofessional and very bad service. Cant even get simple rules of law correct.

I have used Adrian. DO NOT USE HIM!!!!!! He tells lies. He says he has lodged paperwork and hasn't even lodged the papers he was meant to. Instead he tries to lodge them WHEN ITS TO LATE so no use to the client at that point. !!!!!! Gives very poor and the wrong advice, doesn't return phone calls and doesn't effectively argue a case. the FINAL STRAW was I caught him out deliberately over inflating his costings because he thought there was an easy payday for him through a property sale and the associated conveyance. He became very disgruntled and aggressively chasing the bill when the sale didn't go through VERY DISHONEST AND MORALLY BANKRUPT. The WORST interaction with any so called professional I've EVER ENCOUNTERED. DON'T USE ADRIAN HAWKES LAWYERS. AS THE PREVIOUS REVIEW SAID AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

To whom it may concern. I had Hawkes lawyers act for me in a property settlement recently. I had some really bad experiences with lawyers prior to this and I'm pleased to say I was more than happy with the way my matter was handled. I was treated very fairly and the firm was knowledgeable and efficient. It was heartening to find such a helpful and ethical law firm. Again many thanks Adrian and Kirsty. John Lankheet

Hawkes Lawyers have helped us with legal matters. I have always found Adrian to very approachable, honest and with old fashioned integrity. l would not hesitate to use him again .

Adrian is a great solicitor who listened to me when my circumstances were at their worst. He helped me and is always only too ready to help me even on little things. He is a great solicitor! Considering the work he has done for me his fees were very reasonable.
