enjoyed malaysian food from Hawkers corner at Craigieburn central.
Service was great and very swift. Food looked colourful and well presented, but it tasted meh. I had the Nasi Lemak with Redang Chicken, which was very rich and sweet, to the point that I couldn't taste the other flavours. The prawns were okay at best, but not shelled properly as I had some in my bites. The portion sizes were very generous, but the food was not that extraordinary not that it wasn't bad. The bubble tea was a bit overpriced, and didn't enjoy it so much due to the ice layer crushed ice, ice cream?? Not sure what it was tbh on top of the drink. Had a good jelly and boba ration though
Wouldn't recommend hawkers corner. I got the chicken skewers and they were dry as the Sahara desert, not to mentioned burnt. The peanut satay sauce was like earting sand with a very slight peanut taste. Staff were just standing around and upon inspection of areas where they cooked, looked dirty with lots of grease. The tables had tissue boxes on each table instead napkins.
Had Laksa spicy veg, nasi goreng and the malay roti chanai- man the food was excellent and good value for money. Excluding a couple of items in the dish seemed no problem. Although, felt there could me few more types of vegies in the laksa. Else probably the best laksa flavours in Northern Melbourne at par with the famous Laksa King.
Ordered Nasi goreng for takeaway. Didn’t even have the chicken in there and when we tried to call the place the number “was not connect”. What you doing mate?? Get it together.
The rending I ordered was out of this world. Definitely recommend to everyone. The portion of serving was so generous. Yummy dish and a must taste.
Ordered for 2 just today. After almost an hour of waiting and asking the waitresses about our order who would only make assurances that it would come "soon" in "10-15 minutes" we discovered that the waitress who took out order went on break and never submitted it to the kitchen. Very disappointing and unprofessional performance.
Seems the old friendly management has changed.Crapy service.Asked for chicken curry for 6 aud which i akways used to buys without any roti. These guys on store yesterday forced me to buy roti as a mandatory criteria to buy chikn curry which was never the case before. The menu doesnt say anything as such.huge upset with unprofessional service team.will never go again.Crappyyy team.save them
There was a staple in my Seafood Mee Goreng. Initially I thought it was a bone so I pulled it out and it was an unfolded metal staple. This is very dangerous and unacceptable.
Ordered a few dishes for two. Found it very bland lacking flavour and could not finish. Only decent dish was the roti.
